Tut! I have just discovered that my dog has a dodgey tooth. He has been a bit off colour these past couple of days and i reckon the poor wee boy will have to go in to have it removed. These things always seem to crop up at Christmas time too.
Looks like i shall be adding a few more pounds to my debt list.
2 Steps forward and 1 step back or is it vice versa.

I find that there is ALWAYS something! Just when I think... fab, I can pay a chunk off my card.... something else pops it's head up and needs the money instead! :(

Hope your dog is ok x

Just had to tell you about my MSE lunch... I had 3 slices of bread that I bought from Morissons on Sunday reduced just before they closed so they cost me about 1p each and I had spaghetti shapes (Shrek!) that I bought a few weeks ago 4 for a £1 from Asda so all in all my lunch cost me 28p!!!

Hazelc56, I know exactly what you mean. We all have the best of intentions until something unexpected crops up! But I like to think that it's still better to be stepping forward one step rather than just going straight backwards. I hope you're pooch will be ok xxx

  • Hi everyone, bit down today, but plodding on slowly, woke up with a migraine, electric has been going on and off all day, internet also played up, but got some tea in the slow cooker, mince and some veg which needed using. Put some more on ebay, which is going ok, hopefully next week I can change my total. My printer ink has just run out, so gonna have to get more so I can print some coupons. Getting cold here now so I might have to put the heating on tonight, we had the first frost last night.
When I go out with my dog now I am going to take some bags with me so I can pick up bits of wood which have fallen off the trees, we already have a small collection out the back, and can then light the woodburner for free. Catch up again tommorow. Welcome to all the newbies.

    Welcome Mumofcookers

Almost missed lunch as I didn't realise I had a meeting at 2pm oops! OH now refuses to let me lend him money, even though I know with the fleabay money & borrowing from my friend I can afford to lend it to him. So now we can't talk to each other about finances, sooooo frustrating.

I'm going to pay something towards a debt tonight, I'm too annoyed with Lloyds to not spend some money so may as well do it to pay off some debt =)

  • Hi all,

Could I join please - I've just joined the site after lurking for a long while. This sounds like the perfect challenge for me and even just reading through your efforts has spurred me on!

I currently owe £7,731.63, a mixture of old student overdrafts and CC debt but I know if I can be disciplined I will get this paid off!

    Thanks!
