  • Evening all
I had a friend round for coffee this afternoon so didnt list any more ebay then I walked up to the shop to get my prescription and treated myself to a trashy mag in the shop (99p) i then had a go at self as I do LOVE a trashy mag BUT we cant give up everything, right? Ive cut my drinking right down, smoke one packet of baccy (small packet) a week, try not to buy clothes etc that I dont need so surely I can have a bit of trash for 99p??? It is really easy to beat ourselevs up and try to deny ourselves EVERYTHING but just not practical IMHO.
I am feeling so in control now and really enthused about getting rid of these STUPID debts. I cannot wait til I can lose the millstone of Vanquis and Cap One. How I despise them both. Imagine, next year having £100 + a month extra. I am going to try and do a PAD- is it literally any tiny amount every day transferred over? Maybe I should go read the thread but its another thing to suck me in lol

    RIght- tea- chicken or turkey???

  • Hello everyone

Good luck to all of us.

Can anyone give me tips or ideas on how to start focusing on the challenge.

I seem at a loss with it being Christmas. I also have to try to control my spending habits and dont seem to be able to do that.

    What a mess

  • Ah bumholes. I just got sucked in by the £80 of Body SHop stuff for £30. HOWEVER I have to make up raffle prizes for Xmas for work and this has saved me LOADS, I have wicker baskets and tissue and just need cellaphane now to make them look proper :) I also have a teenage daughter with friends with birthdays so always need BS stuff for that. definitely MS in the long run AS LONG as I pay it off next week I have also done myself a tally of what I have spent on CC this week *gulp* to pay off next week before I start tackling the vast majority of the debt 100% in the new year

Hello, can I join in please?

I'm getting married in June so most of our money will go towards that to start with, but June onwards.....let's do this!

My total to pay off probably isn't very realistic, but I will give it my best shot: £15,391.37
