Now then....grrrr... I don't wish to sound like a negative nigel, but I have a gripe over ebay/paypal....
I've just sold a few bits on ebay to raise funds for my xmas night out:T. So the buyers have sent payment via payal and paypal tells me they will hold my money for 21 days....why????? I'm not a new member to paypal or ebay, but I don't use them often. I need that money to avoid having to use my CC:mad:
Anyone know why they've said this?
Thanks
ADDED - Just checked and I see they will release it if I receive feedback etc, I guess I understand!!0 -
Just paid 22.62 to the cc... hopefully i've still enough in the account to pay for the christmas parties
so that's now £217.56/6492.82 (3.36%)

URGH!!
I feel rank today. Just got back from a weekend seeing my mates. I have spent so much money. But oh well I won't see them till Christmas now. I'm back working away from next week so it'll be a potential 14 NSDs which will ease some of the pain I am feeling right now :(!
Hope you all had a good weekend I did!! :beer:In debt no more!0 -
Have just posted this on diary but thought you lovely lot should see it too - credit where it's due... :A
Rosa xxAm refusing to touch my work stuff, even though there are things I didn't get finished on Friday, as that would be contrary to the Xmas12 mini-challenge so thank you again Kerri :A :T . (Obviously I can't set a time to leave work on the weekend, but I figure working at all would be working past my hours, so am not doing it. Every time I consider it, I am thinking of the Xmas12 100 all crossing their arms and staring at me as I switch on the laptop :rotfl:) Minor adjustment guilt but also minor revelation that 1) me getting to watch Frozen Planet in my PJs is very important, thank you and 2) time off needs to happen in regular doses, not be stored up for some future holiday that ends up never happening. OK it has taken me a long time to figure out these basic requirements... :doh:Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Hi there,
Can you please add me to this challenge, although strictly speaking my ambition is to actually be in a position to take on a lot more debt (mortgage!) before Christmas next year, but I'm definitely going to be grafting towards the aim of clearing all my other debts.
My total of debts is: £10,762

Happy Sunday you lot!
Finished my overtime spree of the last few days - I don't feel like I've had a weekend given I worked more hours yesterday than I do on a normal workday then was back again - but still, I can't complain about the extra cash I got for it, and I don't have any spending money to be doing anything different right now so I may as well be there I suppose!

Very excited! Have made another £30 on ebay this evening! now to get the camera out and photograph the next lot of stuff that I have dug out from around the flat. Now just got to wait for paypal to release the money and then it can all go on CC!
Must not get tempted to bid on other items though! Although might allow myself a few quid for some more christmas presents.

argh I'm having a mere of a day!
Went out last night to my friends house, drank a bit too much and so didn't move my car from the residents parking bit until it was 13 minutes after the parking restrictions came in....in that time, I'd been ticketed. So that's £35 down.
And now one of the people I sold an item to on ebay has said there is a hole in it. I have photos showing there's no hole, and the buyers story has changed twice already about where this mystical hole is, but paypal have frozen my account pending the dispute. If they side with her, I'll have to reimburse her the cost of me posting the item as well! Fuming! :mad:Deleting everything to make sure MoneySupermarket don't get any of my personal details to sell to following Martin's sell out move :money:0
