I will reply to all of you properly tonight and add our lovely new members to the team but thought I'd just sneak on here quickly to tell you that I just got my payslip today so I can officially update my total tomorrow!!!!! YAY WAHOO HURRAH!!!! *doing very bad cartwheels...*

On a bit of a ranting note though, I got my xmas bonus in my pay and they took £191 out for my student loan repayment! I think it should just be taken from your basic salary and not from and bonuses as this could have gone on paying off more of my debt instead of paying more off my student loan which is low interest debt.

Yaaaaaay, so exciting isn't it? Yes sorry to hear about ur bonus reductions, it is a bit of a pain, I agree with everyone else.

Ohhhhh Lemonpopsicle I think thats allowed ;) well done on your payment, I am definitely going to do this in December.

Right, it is confession time...although I have cut up my store cards this morning so there are definitely being paid off and cancelled..I may have bought a new camera on ebay today and put it on my c.card. :(

I knew full well what i was doing because I needed a new point and shoot, I have done for about a year. It wasn't expensive at all, but I need to set myself a challenge to compensate for this purchase, as it was naughty but i really wanted to have one for the holidays and for my photography project.
And yes, you were all telling me not to do it and I did it anyway, so i think it is only fair you decide the challenge I need to complete to make up for it :rotfl:

suzitiger have you got anything you can flog on fleabay? Or do you have a craft that you can sell??? If so you could sell stuff to make up for the camera that you should have rewarded yourself for after the selling *sniggers*

suzitiger, you could set a challenge of not opening / using the camera until you have made enough money to pay for it.

  • Very true, like you are being good with your bed.
Ok I shall 'punish' myself with fleabay, but I will probably find it quite fun. I will keep going with things to sell until I have doubled the amount the camera cost and put it towards my debt. If I can find that much to sell lol!!
I have been meaning to put stuff on there for a while so it will be good.:)

10p in the pot for you :p

Why don't you use the shiny camera to take the photos of the stuff you're going to sell?

I'm going to use my next lot of fleabay sales to pay for some more fabric, I want to do a craft fair in January but have no stock eep!

Got myself a pair of ECCO shoes today from Ebay. I paid £6.00 overall for the shoes and P&P.Worn only for one week(which i dont mind)
Great bargain as they usually cost around £60 - £70 in the shop...chuffed.
