Hi everyone just wanted to say this is the most motivating thing ive done about my debts ever. Really feel energised to get them paid off.
Today I took a top i bought two weeks ago back and got a refund on my credit card and took a pair of jeans back and got a credit note that i'll buy a xmas pressie with, so not a bad day. been really thinking about how little I can spend and have realised that day to day I spend hardly anything ( im on maty leave as prob only spend 3 - 4 days a week max, although earning b*gger all !) but then may splurge. so whenever i think abut spending I think " it might feel good for a minute but how good will I feel when this debt has gone " especially as this debt is stopping me moving house and once its gone I can move to a lovely new house with a big back gar
den !
Paid a little more this week so new total is £297.15/£6000 £5702.85 left

Really liking the challange this week, not sure what for as yet but will have a think more than likely be time keeping for work as am on flexi hours and need to build up for extra day off.
For the last couple of months I've had too much flexitime - it's really hard to leave early/take a long dinner break when there's nobody else in the department!!
I think this challenge is great though, I'm going to be a little old lady for mine and try to get myself off to bed for 10pm every day - with it being dark & cold all the time now I'm just knackered ALL the time - really can't have a nap at work so need to get to bed earlier!0 -

I hope it doesn't cause a bad atmosphere at the do - things could go the other way and a bit of free booze might get everybody back chatting to each other and being friendly again? *fingers crossed* At the last big party at our place me and a couple of other people left our retirement party (boring) and crashed somebody's 40th becuase they had fancy dress and a dance floor
Much more fun!!
Sadly I think it's only going to go one way on Saturday as the managers have been trying to put 2 of the office staff on disciplinaries but then have been told that it's their fault and they've got a rollocking themselves so it's created a very bad atmosphere. Luckily I'm in the next office so nothing to do with it but everyone is b*tching about each other trying to stab each other in the back and it's sooooooooo annoying as it used to be a fun office until someone got a little too big for their boots and went on a mass ego trip when it was their fault in the first place... Anyway! Less of that!
I think I'll just take a bucket of beer and hide in another room, you never know, I might meet the man of my dreams because of this! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Hello, can I join in with this please. I need to add up exactly how much I owe, as I have been a bit 'head in the sand' about my debts tbh... I do have some payment plans in place with a few of them, but others I have just been avoiding. I need to get in touch with them and arrange minimum monthly payments then I can look to overpaying to get it all cleared.
I will try and get figures up asap

I've moved mine so that it falls 6 months away from the insurance... does make it easier as there's actually time to save for it before it has to be used.
Rosa xx
I went for 12 months in the end so it doesn't fall with the MOT/service/insurance. Going to put lots of little pots about for car maintenance and things.
Just have to say one gripe and that's "I wish my mother had taught me about money", I really do.
My weeks time challenge is going to be to earn me £10 for take-out next week, I earn it by going to bed before midnight. Been meaning to do this for ages as I've been getting into work veeeery late, eep.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
