I've just had the biggest breakthrough ever, told OH I would rather use my PPI refund to pay off my freemans than buy a gorgeous bed *claps* and save for the bed when I'm debt free *claps* yay we have a proper goal *claps* All because I didn't want to have to tell you lot I spunked all the money :rotfl:
YAY!! Well done Kerri!! It'll be so much more rewarding when you finally get it when YOU have paid for it rather than your CC!0 -
Just had a look at the credit card. Seems my interest costs me about £43 each month so of the £70 DH paid only £27 actually pays off the debt  Roll on Thurs when my loan DD goes out of my bank and I feel I'm really attacking my debt.
Current debt paid £47/£65830 -

Hi I would love to join - if I can (It will be impossible to clear all debt, but going to clear as much as possible)
We were considering an IVA a few weeks back because our dmp plan with CCCS isnt working out for us, we are still getting interest added and constant phone calls, also CCCS have passed payments on late a couple of times.
We have decided to try and pay these debts without doing an IVA, by doing our own dmp, it wont be easy the debts are huge, we have 21 creditors in total, and including our car hp payment (10,500) we owe a total of £34,939.16:(:(
OMG I think I mite cry:(
Well done Bailey!! It's not easy but you are on this thread now and we can help you do this. :j
RosaBernicia your challenge sounds good, you shouldn't be working too hard. Enjoy the extra time it will give you.
Kerri FAB!!!! well done. I have seen offers on groupon for beds that are really nice for very good prices. You already have the mattress don't you so these would be fine for you. Do you use groupon? If not, JOIN!! Its !!!!!!! awesome :rotfl:
