Aw brizzled that sounds fab
we've got donald russell no added water breasts mmm. Of course chicken is vegetarian don't you know....or so my mother tells me so I am forced to eat meat down there.
I had an odd thought this evening, it was that I don't want to be debt free from a quick fix. I think the tax rebate and the unexpected pay, which could have left me with £1500 left to pay, in my head would have been cheating. I hadn't learnt to save, or scrimp, or not buy something because I can make it cheaper. Well I have learnt these things, but I haven't put them into practice yet, not properly anyway. I need to learn to keep to a budget if I've any hope in being able to cope post-debt, otherwise I'll never have any savings.
I know this might all sound a bit cuckoo to some people, but I have a beautiful bed on its way and I've got myself in a really happy place. Without the spends over the past few weeks I don't think I'd have got there as I wouldn't be quite happy yet. Since I realised I'm happy just being as I am, I've started racking up the NSDs again, buying and eating less chocolate, and being happy smiley
However, I haven't put myself any further in debt, and I think this is the most important fact of allOooh my sister will pay me £50 next week
that means I can throw more money at debt yay \o/

You're laughing, but a guy I used to work with says very much the same thing..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

And I used to work with a lass whose 'vegetarian' diet included fish, chicken and mince... *misses shrugging smiley*

That probably makes me a vegan, because I don't eat eggs or butter very often... :rotfl:"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Isn't the word piscarian or something?
I suppose the chicken analogue would be "A Colonel Sanders"..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Not a NSD but turns out I still know my old pin :-) so I've spent £26 total from the budget today. £25.08 on petrol, can never get it on the dot, and 79p double decker - must find these and bulk buy!!!
Debit card rounds up and shoves change in saving account, so I'm rounding up in my head :-) easier to remember whole £s anyway.
Not a lot done today, a rather chilled one really, although suggested to OH that even though he hardly saw his gran, he should possibly send a wreath as he can't attend the funeral. He's going to think on it :-)
I've been looking at online rental sites for places in Cardiff, I might try o convince the OH that if I get a 3 bed then he should live with me as we can both have studies ;-) but I have to overcome his "but I told x and y I'd take their spare room and pay them £300 a month" hmmm might tackle that from the "so you want to pay someone else £2000 towards their family instead of £2000 towards ours" and the "you'll save money on food as we can have meals together" tact ;-) slowly slowly though, will make it seem like his idea ;-)Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hello Kerri, v pleased for you about the bed. I while heartedly agree with buying quality once, rather than buying cheap often. Only a few days til it arrives - yay!Debt £26k 18/10/140

I'm super duper excited :-) I've also been looking on right move for properties in Cardiff to get an idea of rental prices. For what I pay now I could get a four bed house with two reception rooms :eek:Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
