Eeeep my fleabay total has come to £34.81 for:
4 spools 5000yds white overlocker thread
4 spools 5000yds black overlocker thread
    1 spool pin
    2 sewing machine bulbs
    5m 30" 4oz wadding

This might seem a little overboard, but I have fabric that I'm not doing anything with. As soon as I have my overlocker setup I can start to make things I can sell again :) and my spool pin has become lost somewhere between houses which means I'm currently using an unpicker to keep the spool in place, not so good.

So today is not a NSD :( but as I didn't pay until today, today is a NSD :D I must ask my HM if she wants to go halves on a veg box again this week, hoping she'll say yes.

I'm going to make some potato topped veggie pies today, that can be frozen and then defrosted & heated up when I'm feeling lazy om nom nom. I don't think I have any plastic containers for storing soup in, so might give the soup a miss.

Right, off to edit more fleabay photos whilst watching last nights casualty. Hope you all have a good day :)

I'm watching Supersize vs Superskinny and wondering how on earth do people end up at 40st+ ??? Do they not think "oh hang on I'm 20st I should probably change my diet"?? The supermarkets with their convenience food have a lot to answer for I think.

I'm going to make a credit card holder this evening from some pretty fabric :)

It's not the convenience foods, that just makes it a touch easier. It's people trying to fill a hole in their life by filling the hole in their face.

Cherry, I did indeed manage to go out and take in some of that lovely sunshine :) I was looking online at potato seeds trying to work out how many I needed for the allotment, when I thought "hey! it's a lovely sunny day out there and you're wasting it inside, go check on your onions woman!". So I trundled off to the allotment at 4.30 for 2hrs gardening :) I managed to clear the majority of the larger weeds that were coming up around the onions & garlic, and raked over the green manure that's growing where I want to put my fruit garden.

It was really rewarding down there, I love being outside, and to think at harvest time I'm going to have about 30 garlic cloves and 25 large red onions mmmm. All for the price of about £5.

I've had a spendy evening though. I saw that T&M were doing a 25% off seeds offer, so I have ordered £29 worth of seeds & potatos for £20 + postage. The postage is £6.90 :( but there's nothing I can do about that, I can't get the seeds any cheaper elsewhere. I bought carrots, leeks, potatos, thyme, rosemary, basil, spinach, lettuce, swede, aubergine, courgette, cucumber, pea, and rocket. The potatos are already tubers, the rest are packets of seeds. I'm going to germinate the seeds in seed boxes by the window, then I'll transplant them when they've grown a bit using bottle cloches (I've been saving any plastic bottles I use). I don't want the slugs getting to them. All I have left to get is some tomatos and I'll be pretty sorted.

Z those wallets are pretty, although I'm not sure I agree with fur :( Maybe one day when the animals start making human skin wallets...
I do agree though, people need therapy not doughnuts :)

So my budget had once again gone out the window. How is it I keep finding things I actually "need". Seeds weren't just wants as I need to be growing things on my allotment and in the long-term those things will feed me reducing the cost at another time. This week I'm going to try doubly hard not to spend money on anything. I can't foresee anything new arising, but that's what I said on Friday :(

The best thing I've done this weekend is to rearrange my room, it's more spacious, less cluttered and makes me feel more relaxed :) I've also started writing lists which is most excellent. I've no idea why writing lists keeps me so organised, but if it works I'm going to keep to it :)

Oooh added note, cashback for the T&M is already tracking at £4.50 :D awesome!!!

That's not *real* fur, it's just hairy plastic. I think the last time tiger fur was available at all must have been the 1950's. That's a very long time ago now.

:) I know that, but I still don't want to be encouraging them either. It's probably along the same lines as to why I don't eat quorn, what's the point in taking a stand in not eating an animal if you're going to eat something that resembles the animal anyway?

You can eat it in complete safety then. Quorn resembles meat like saccharine resembles sugar...

Ok so today has been productive, but I've not managed a NSD :( How am I ever going to manage 10 NSDs in one month?!?!

Anyway, I'm liking this whole new lists thing it's fab and it's making me incredibly organised, tidy, and quite motivated.

    So things I've done today:

    - hoovered room
    - setup desk now that my docking station has finally arrived
    - mopped bedroom floor
    - put away clean sheets
    - fixed curtain hook that fell down
    - complete p4nelbase survey
    - complete mysurv3y surveys
    - SP button
    - check SB for videos & surveys
    - make bed (can't believe I've not done this yet)

    Spends:

    £1.59 1lt lucozade
    69p double decker
    £18.34 overpayment to cc
    £1.39 yoghurt
    £1.39 yoghurt
    93p 6 country slices (reduced)
    £1.00 apple pies
    50p 6 crumpets

Things I didn't manage to do:
    - check washing dry, if so put away
    - sort a black box
    - edit some more fleabay items

I've just been watching The Tube on tv and it still saddens me when they talk of One Unders, I seem to uncontrollably exclaim "aww :( " at the loss of life. I know some are people that just fall, but the others that are so desperate that they jump is really sad. I was especially saddened to hear the tale of the lads that were fooling around on the tube platform and one fell in taking with him his mate whom he grabbed, who in turn grabbed a stranger and all three were hit, such tragedy :(
