    Hi Electrobix,
Yes he agreed to pay me back the £175 I lent him when his cheque clears :) He's really pleased that I nagged him to fill in the PPI forms, took him about 30mins to fill them in so well worth doing as between us we've had £2500 back from Lloy now :) Although that means we've paid that amount too, at least we've learnt our lessons - no more loans.
My overlocker thread has arrived :) just need the postie to deliver my sewing machine spool pin and I can setup my little sewing machine and overlocker on my desk properly :D My HM had an industrial sewing machine & overlocker delivered yesterday, they're mahoosive and now living in our basement. I think they took them out on finance against her finances company.

Right, best get on with getting some of my list tackled.

    To do:
[STRIKE]- NSD[/STRIKE] did have to buy bits for a girly picnic on the lounge floor this evening, but my HM went to mr T for these so she paid, so I told her that made us even for the veg box on Thursday. So for tonight we have 3 different types of dip, 2 bags of tortilla chips, potato flatcake thingys, cucumber, cloudy lemonade :) I'm going to make up some pasta for our main course and we're going to watch D1sney films :) Nice girly night in.
    [STRIKE]- Put away washing[/STRIKE]
    - Find some upgrade best practices docs and email to the client Need to collate the information I have from previous emails, then add to that and send out the same links ;)
[STRIKE]- Find some information that was requested from a call yesterday and email it[/STRIKE] Waiting for a colleague to get back to me on some more information
[STRIKE]- Complete spreadsheet and send back to the client[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- Have breakfast[/STRIKE] museli with blackcurrant & elderflower yoghurt mmm
[STRIKE]- Have lunch[/STRIKE] two crumpets and a mr kipling apple pie
[STRIKE]- Have dinner[/STRIKE] need to learn to cook rice pasta better, but the sauce was awesome :)
    - SP button didn't get time today
    - SB videos didn't get time today
[STRIKE]- check for surveys[/STRIKE] 1poll done
[STRIKE]- check cc payment of £20 is showing on statement[/STRIKE] panic over payment is showing :)
[STRIKE]- set out outfit for Sevenoaks on Wednesday (cold there so something warm, dress with leggings?)[/STRIKE] long grey dress with black leggings and long black cardigan
[STRIKE]- make up breakfast to take Wednesday[/STRIKE] museli with yummy yoghurt as standard :)
    - maybe make couscous lunch to take Wednesday
[STRIKE]- contact freem4ns to close a/c[/STRIKE] have sent them a "contact us" message asking them to close the account and call if there are any problems
[STRIKE]- setup money manager on lloy[/STRIKE] helps me keep track of what and how much I'm spending on things
[STRIKE]- setup save the change on lloy[/STRIKE] anytime I spend any money it'll round up to the nearest £ and stick this in a savings a/c, I might keep moving it back in if needed but hoping as I learn to budget more I'll move it about less and less
[STRIKE]- setup mobile banking on lloy[/STRIKE] I've setup an alert for when I'm under £10 and an alert when I'm over £50. If I'm over £50 that'll get sent to my ISA, if I'm under £10 I have to stop spending :)
[STRIKE]- do washing up of bits that are collecting in bedroom[/STRIKE]

Lloy is going to be my weekly budget a/c for food to start with, as I get better at budgeting I'm going to include weekly spending money and petrol as well. I will get the hang of this budgeting malarkey.

Quite a productive day all in all :) feeling quite pleased with my achievements, although I didn't get everything I wanted to get done, done. My bed arrives a week today, I'm super excited. Oooh and today was technically a NSD :D yippeeee

    Lovely bed :)

I've also come to realise I'm indecisive! I'm still not happy with the layout of my room. I think I'm going to have to sketch it out and work out how I want it to be. I've got a feeling I might turn my shelf unit into a room divider, but I'm not entirely sure yet but it would make it more accessible..hmmmm decisions. Might have a play when I'm at home next.

I've been up since 5:30am as I went to Sevenoaks today to see a client. About 100 miles of fuel at 25p/mile is claimable in expenses and I put £25 in the tank, but I only used 1/8 of a tank and have 3/8 left (only half filled the tank). Lunch was £4.30, so I think in total I come out on top with that one :) oh and £1.40 for a bottle of lucazade for caffeine.

I did order a bunch of fleurs that cost £20 + £2.99 delivery for the OHs Mum, he forgot all about it, but I think she'll be really chuffed. I called her today and she was everso pleased to hear from me. She said she'd stopped telling OH about mothers day as he always forgets. So I told her not to worry as I won't let him forget :) OH is only just starting to realise that people like getting cards or small gifts, even if they are polite and say "oh don't get me anything". I know £20 is a lot on fleurs, but if she's not had any in years then I'll be glad to have spent it.

I'm going to take the face wash out of the clin1que set I bought my mum in advance months ago when it was on offer and give that to her, so her present is free :) better than buying it if I already have it, and will stop my temptation for buying mascara. Oh and the OH might even give me the money for the fleurs, bonus ;)

Going to curl up in bed and watch T0rchwood this evening, no more 'puters for me :)

If that's all you're getting, you may be able to get a tax rebate.

I file a tax return every year for the extra 15p/mile :)

Ooh another little bonus, OH is going to give me £200 when his cheque clears to compensate me for buying his Mum some flowers. He was incredibly grateful that I'd thought of it xx

Aw sorry Mrs P, I find it makes me a lot more productive though :)

My nose is threatening to bleed again today :( I think it's change in air pressure, or simply that my housemate put the heating on last night and I cooked therefore drying out my nasal passages, either way I blew my nose this morning and it was red eep. Must drink lots of water to compensate.

My standing order to lloy for £50 a week went through today, so now I just have to stick to my budget *crosses fingers*. Although Mr Postie hasn't sent me the pin number yet which is concerning as how can I be expected to spend the money if I don't have a pin? Hmm...

Anyway, going to leave the weekly veg box as coming out of my current a/c for the time being that means I can use the £50 for this week on petrol to get to my parents (I have workarounds for everything don't I). However, I have saved myself £30 by deciding to use the facial soap out of the gift pack I got on offer in the sales, instead of going and buying another one. Yay :D

    Right todays lists:

[STRIKE]- check lloy b/a[/STRIKE] £57.51 remaining for this week, to include petrol to parents
[STRIKE]- move anything over £50 back to hsb from lloy[/STRIKE] moved £7.51 back to hsb
[STRIKE]- check hsb b/a[/STRIKE] £79.76 remaining with £20 veg box to come out tomorrow
[STRIKE]- wash up breakfast pot from yesterday[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- breakfast[/STRIKE] museli & yoghurt again
[STRIKE]- water mushroom kit[/STRIKE] Used a spray bottle to keep the compost moist :)
[STRIKE]- strip bed[/STRIKE] mattress flipped and turned as well
[STRIKE]- wash bedding[/STRIKE] washed and now hanging on the airer
[STRIKE]- put broken sofa base outside[/STRIKE] put it out in the communal hallway shared by all three flats as not sure if my housemate wants it anymore or not
[STRIKE]- move shelf unit to side wall[/STRIKE] moved, polished, hoovered entire room
[STRIKE]- move bed to where sofa unit used to be[/STRIKE] now flanked by two bedside tables, and doesn't play up my OCD ;)
[STRIKE]- figure out where to put metal shelf unit[/STRIKE] it's now living behind my tv that's on the wall as the tv extends far enough forward :)
[STRIKE]- hoover under bed[/STRIKE] hoovered entire room :D
[STRIKE]- put clean bedding on bed[/STRIKE] odd pillows because one of them fell out when I did the wash the other day oops!
[STRIKE]- lunch[/STRIKE] crumpets om nom nom
[STRIKE]- NSD[/STRIKE] not spent a thing :D not even online
[STRIKE]- chill out and relax[/STRIKE] lots of T0rchwood, and relaxing in my nice tidy, hoovered, polished, clean bedroom :)
    - dinner
    - use new cutting board and make a card holder from fabric
    - thread up overlocker

thanks Brizzled, it's keeping me really focused :) I've just finished tidying my room and sorting it out. I'm sure it's almost feng sui'd :) It's ready for the new bed now, so that on Wednesday I can freecycle the current futon base & mattress, as someone might want to have it. My OH is really missing me today, he's realised that 4 months is a long time and he never has anything exciting to tell me about :( I think it would have been different had he gone to Montreal instead of New Brunswick, but I reassured him that it's not really that long until he gets to see me again.

On the other hand I've not really noticed that he's away, I've been keeping myself busy and throwing myself into work :D Just what I needed to do and I'm super duper happy. Although it will be nice when he's back, and I've made my room lovely for when he returns, especially when the new bed arrives.

I've convinced my sister that we don't need to buy mothers day lunch from Mr MS, and instead we can use the chicken I ordered and have a lovely roast. I'm going to take some of the veg box that we've got leftover so it can be a pre-paid meal :D Although apparently as I don't have children and my sister does, this means I'm cooking....short straw there I think!

I'm hoping the pin number for my new card arrives tomorrow, although do they send new pins when you've only ordered a new card? I think I can remember the old pin number, so I will give this a go at the cash point tomorrow. Then I can buy petrol for going down to visit my parents.

Lunch sounds yum. We are doing same. I fancied lamb but then thought about additional cost and that we already have a R@verford chicken in the freezer..so I will do that..with yorkies as my kids love em and it stretches the meat!!
My mum is coming I've so we will have her meringues too... A lovely Mothering Sunday feast!
