:j:j:j:j:j:j:j Yey to the beautiful new bed fit for a Princess( oh and a pea !) for arriving, and to you for not takign out a loan or a paying for it on a card ! Yes I believe I do know the shop. Mr Pinot used to work in Camden many moons ago, it used to be a bit old an old haunt for us back in the day ( not the bed shop, but Camden market :rotfl: !!) !! Its not often we get a Sunday off of work these days, but if we do we sometimes head back down memory lane, although its not as nice as it used to be. Either that or I'm just getting old !! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

voila! I couldn't resist and ended up telling the OH when I spoke to him this evening. I told him it's "our" bed and at no point said "my" bed
so he knows I've bought something for both of us. He loves it and says it's exactly the one that he would have bought, and because I didn't go any further into debt than I already am he's happy that I bought it as I have been on the cruddy one for 18 months now.

My Mr T delivery hasn't turned up
apparently they have until 23:30 to deliver it. I'm starving marvin! If they don't deliver it then they'll refund me but it can take up to 5 days to do that. I don't have any money to throw at buying additional groceries whilst I wait for them to refund me *sobs*. I asked if there was a reason for the delay, they said they couldn't see any issues

Right, I think I have been kidding myself. I cannot buy food, go out to customers, have a social life, on £50/week. Mostly because before I've done anything at least £30 is swallowed by the car and £20 is swallowed by my veg box.
So...I am going to increase my limit to £100. But the aim is to have a pot setup for expenses only. So after payday the next lot of expenses to come in will be withdrawn and put into a "expenses" purse. This purse will only be used for expenses, so the next time I go onsite I will pay for my petrol with this money, claim back on expenses and then put the money back in the purse when it comes in. I was caught short this week as I wasn't sure how much money I had in my account and got to 5miles remaining 10miles away from home eep! luckily I had £60 in my account so I put £10 in the tank, the main worry was because I thought all my money was in my savings a/c. Anyway, this should free up £30 from the weekly budget.
So the way it works will be.... every Thursday I get £100 to spend for the week, this has to include my veg box which is just under £20. Anything that is leftover will be sent back to the current account from whence it came. I did this today, I sent back £2.10although this week I cheated and used the current a/c so not the triumph I had hoped for.
The rules:
* Every Thursday £100 available
* All spending must be done with this £100 (except expenses)
* Anything leftover goes back to HSB a/c it will not rollover to the next week
* If you run out that's it, you'll just have to wait until the next weeks payday
* Spends must be logged on a daily basis
* Second purse spends do not count towards this as it has its own system
* Any extra money earnt through fleabay etc goes straight to HSB and is not used for topping up weekly budget
* Spends are rounded up to the nearest £ and change is put into a savings account, this is used as the weeks emergency money.
So it's like payday every week, I think this should be more manageable, well at least I hope it is. *crosses fingers* This way I hope to start to reduce the overdraft. I will have to work out how much I have left after bills, pots, debts, etc paid (I still don't know how much I'll be paid monthly from this new job).
Not a huge list today as I can't really think what needs doing
Thursdays list:

2. Dinner
