Hi Hadahardyear,
Thanks for subscribing and taking the time to read my diary, do you have one of your own?
The best thing I've done so far is work out my emergency fund, it means I have money set aside to lend to my family when they "need" it as I hate saying no, but I still have cash there to tide me over if lending them would mean I was strapped.
Sorry to have kept you up, but hope you had some giggles I am quite mad sometimes.

Being MSE today and have brought in my lunch, I don't have any yoghurt at the moment so can't have my breakfast which I know is really naughty. Funny how you can go 2 weeks without getting hungry, then as soon as you get in work my tummy is rumbling at 12.30 and it's already had crisps, olives, mango mix tsk tsk.
I've also brought in a brownie and a flapjack, must remember to post a picture of flapjack cake later, it looked awesome.
I keep getting mystery shopper emails but you need a rating of 5 and I have no idea how I get this rating grrr. Might have to browse the forum later for hints and tips.
Just realised it's 3 weeks until payday not 4 which I originally thought it was, phew that's not tooo bad I guess. OH will be paying me £175 on Monday and my sister will be paying me £50 on the 20th. For once I'm actually doing some work in work! Have decided I need to get on and finish this horrible perl script I've spent months writing with no chance of any help from anyone. I'm clueless as to how it works and I don't know the language but nevermind.
Have cancelled my xbox live autorenewal and should be able to pay Wescott later so will update again when I've done thatyippee looking forward to my % going up and the amount owed going down. I've come so far in such a short space of time, but still have a way to go

Aw thanks IWN, I think I've got it sussed now. I had a file with a list of scripts preceded by which menu section they were relevant to. Have managed to pull them into a multidimensional array, now just need to get the relevant menu item to read the relevant array from the hash of arrays and I'll be almost finished
Not to self, dolmio pasta sauce and overcooked pasta tastes cack after being reheated. Must do better next time.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

hehe Z I should have mentioned it 2 months ago when I was really struggling, but at least I've definitely learnt something.
Have just paid £90 to Wescottthat's another debt reduced whoop whoop. Minimum payments this month as my pay has to last 6 weeks eep!
I spent £21 on two 1m fabrics on Cath Kidston one oilcloth, one cotton, both matching. I'm going to make some fun things with it and photograph and hopefully make some money from making things again. I did check how much I spent in JL before xmas and it was £26 on two 1m lots of CK fabrics which made the MIL's present about £5 to make yay.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

hello there, yeah i have a diary, its called 'If you wanna be somebody', not sure how you would find it, it automatically comes up for me.
How has your day been. I wandered round B&m cash burning a hole in my pocket and all i bought was 88p sugar and a hot water bottle for £1.99.
It was either the hot water bottle or a fifty quid electric blanket :rotfl::rotfl:Save £300 in Jan £515/£300-Lose 10 lbs in Jan- 8/10,Cap One M/C £0/£200,Cap One Visa £0/£200

Hi there, I'm part way through your diary and will be subscribing.. Well done on your efforts so far, you're doing really well to repay your debts whilst being so generous to your loved ones and without compromising your values.
I am quite new to this and have only just started my diary this week. Good luck with your journey, I look forward to following it. :O)Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end

When I have those "money to burn days" I spend twice as long in the shop now. I pick up loads of things to get my splurge fix, then for the second half I wander round putting things back down as I realise I don't need it, or I already have one, or it'll be cheaper somewhere else
Nice on the cheap bottie, I don't think we have a B&M here is it an up north thing?Hi there, I'm part way through your diary and will be subscribing.. I can't believe I've paid almost 1/4 my debt in 4 months it's quite amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it.
I have finally registered for online tax returns, leaving it a little late but nevermind. I've only made a few £'s in profit but have expenses to claim back for selling jewellery last year. Will come out as a self-employed loss, but I will aim to do better next year. It's all a fun hobby afterall.
Small confession time, have moved the lovely £346 sat in my emergency fund into my bank account to pay my rent, it was an emergency my family have borrowed my money and I haven't enough for rent. After bills it leaves me with £2 in the HSBC that I won't touch.
I couldn't even get into the size 6R trousers I bought from Next this year, I have always been a 6 I don't understand why I'm not anymore. I think my hips must have grown, or they're basing their sizes these days on urchins. Either way that's £34 for a suit to go back on the vanquis. I don't think the £50 I took back yesterday has cleared yet as my sums are out somewhere.
Dinner tonight was nutella on toast, you'll laugh at me for this one... I washed every single pair of jeans/trousers I own yesterday forgetting I needed a pair for work today. So luckily I had a spare pair of jeans hiding under some stuff I still need to sort through. Unfortunately they were my Levi's that at the best of times I have to squeeze into (26" waist I'm currently 28" waist and 37" hips) the biggest problem is the hips eep. When I put them on this morning I had to gulp down a glass of water to stop me being faint/sick, I really did rearrange my internals oops. This evening my stomach has not forgiven me and my IBS has played up, apparently half your digestive trapped squished for 9hrs isn't what's best for it. Oh well I'll find a pair of my Next trousers that are a large size 8 to wear tomorrow then they might forgive me
I've only just found the "go to first new post" button as well, which will save me a super amount of time on the forums wish I'd found that sooner, I've been using the "thanks" button to help me keep track haha.
NSD tomorrow as I've got a veg box coming and it's already paid for, half the pasta from today is still in the work fridge I will force myself to eat it even if it tastes like cack. Tomorrow night I will get the slow cooker out for the first time and make something yummy that can be batched up. I have lentils, pulses and beans that can go in it too yum.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Whoa there!
You absolutely *must not* compromise priority liabilities for *anyone*. That's rent, council tax and various other things.
