noo, no babies, I was just wanting something sweet but also wanted something healthy, so apparently the two went. Must have been thinking like Dr Who.

Not a NSD today :( but still only spending last years sealed pot money, so does it count?
2 bottles of lucozade for £1.80 and 2 tubs of yoghurt for £3 that'll do for breakfast this week. Lunch hadn't defrosted so will have that tomorrow and grab a sarnie today, then it's no more spends until Thursday. :T still going strong with the swagbucks yay and really glad that I caught up on all my surveys

My sister has let me know that she won't be going to my parents for christmas this year, this is after I have ordered over £70 of food to arrive next week so we can have a big family roast dinner. She only lives 2 minutes walk from their house.
Apparently her and my mother have had a spat and she is refusing to go there for christmas. This has really upset me and I am now in two minds as to whether to go there for christmas or not. Last year I remember telling my OH that I didn't ever want to go there for xmas again as it's always rife with bickering and unpleasantness. I've been invited to go to my friends place for christmas as an alternative, but I know if I don't go to see my parents then my Dad will be really upset with me.
I've told my mother and sister that if they don't sort it out between the two of them then I am staying in London and this has resulted in my sister telling me I am using bullyboy tactics. I just want to see all my family at christmas having a meal together and setting aside their differences. I'm sick to the back teeth of their petty bickering and b*tching all the time.
If I don't go down then I stand to lose £1600 if my sister starts refusing to pay me back money she's borrowed from me previously. It will also mean I don't have to go to the Next sale with her on the 27th. But by her refusing to go round for a christmas meal she's missing the entire point of Christmas and I simply can't tolerate them going at it hammer and tongs anymore.
Will speak to my OH and see what he says. Just feel really stupid for thinking that spending £70+ on food for us would mean we'd have a nice Christmas.

I've decided that I'm still going to go to my parents and have xmas with them. If my sister chooses not to come over then that's her problem but I shall not be going to her house when my Mum is out in the morning as she has requested as an alternative. I see this as just plain spiteful.

This evening I made my first leek & potato soup, it was yummy although a tad too salty (will use a better stock cube in future). I forgot the bread so nipped down to Mr W for bread & washing up liquid. (I know I bulk bought at 42p each but they're in Bmth and the washing up is in London and I forgot to bring it back with me yesterday oops). Found bread but not the right one, saw offer for 2 bars of 230g cadburys for £3 and thought "oooh" so picked those up. Went to till found 1p on the floor. Put things through till not realising card only, oops was meant to pay with cash. Paid, looked at receipt and fruit n nut not gone through at £3 for 2. Asked till lady to check and she said it was on the dairy milk not the fruit n nut, doh! But she then said the deal was misleading so gave me the money off :) 94p returned to me yay.

Completely forgot about the washing up liquid so went into corner shop and got a bottle for £1.45 doh! Oh well.

Right back to unpack more of my carp :)

Turns out I've lent more money than I actually have and after working out my snowball it is better to pay off freemans before lloyds.

So I've been extremely bad and need my hand spanked. I've taken the £400 out of lloyds and moved it to my current account. I've then paid off £100 to freemans. My OH owes me £80 and my sister owes me £103.50 (plus the extra that she owes me). I should really move money out of my emergency fund, but will do this on payday so I know I am completely covered.

This feels like a complete set back, but I know that if I move the money from my emergency then I won't have enough in there when it comes to car insurance/MOT/service.

Have brought lunch in today, so at least it's a NSD.

Felt really bad about Lloyds, so have paid another £100 so that's £200 paid off freemans today. They are afterall the highest interest
