Works xmas party last night and I drank too much eep! Poorly on the nightbus and didn't make it in today so worked from home which saved me buying any lunch yay \o/
I'm meant to be in Wales right now, but have only just recovered. Am thinking about leaving shortly and surprising my OH who thinks I'm going to arrive in the morning. Not at all tired and will have lucozade to help put some fuel in my system. Only problem is getting to my car which is up at Ally Pally, although I'm sure there's a bus that goes there.
Debt busting wise, my sister has just paid me back the £50 I lent her so that covers the christmas food shop and means I don't have to be so freaked about putting money I didn't have back onto freemans.
This weekend should be fairly ok, need petrol though which can be expensive but otherwise will be a few foody bits and that's it.
Right best go dry my hair and find out where this bus goes from xDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I've been off work with a chest infection/lurgy all week
just what I need in time for Christmas. My spending has been moderate though and I've only spent about £20 extra on Christmas which is good. I've spent £50 per person roughly, which I'm really pleased with as I usually spend WAY more than that.
The food shop has just turned up at my parents place but it's missing a yule log so I'm going to go in on my way down for a replacement item of the same or better from Mr W. I'm quite impressed with them even though they c0cked up. Delivery was meant to arrive last night but they had problems with their vans so they sent it this morning with a free bottle of bubbly as compensation and called to check it was ok to delivery today instead.
OH went on in a huff earlier as my housemates kinda abandoning her dogs at the moment and they're using our kitchen as a toilet, really not impressed. Oh and I left his bike in our shed which doesn't lock, but thought it was ok as you can't actually get into our garden at all from elsewhere. Nevermind will let him sulk then tell him I put £20 beer money in his bag which he had previously told me he didn't want. If I'm not allowed to buy his xmas present with anything but survey vouchers then he can have £20 instead
Cheque from GTM has arrived today so that's another £30 towards OH's kindler making a total now of £65 in survey vouchers. If I want to get him the new one when it's released in January then I need another £35 in vouchers. Should be fairly doable I imagine.
My competition won copy of Rango arrived todaybest start doing some more comps, I think I was up to the 22nd dec last time I checked.

Oh and teensy update about my cash flow, I have £340 in my emergency fund (this is the £155 x 2months that I worked out previously).
I've put £200 back on Vanquis but they won't let me put on anymore just yet grrr.
I'm avoiding the sales as I don't need anything.
I have booked my veg box for first week in January.
All creditors have been updated with new address.
Done all the comps up until Boxing Day.
Little behind on surveys but done the most important ones.
OH is packed off to his Mums.
Presents wrapped.
Just need to get my stuff ready to drive home for Christmas nowDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Oh no, poor you! :grouphug: I hope you get better soon. (If you don't I'll have to suggest trying garlic syrup...)

Well done you :T. I haven't managed to quite stick to budget either but it's a lot nearer than if I hadn't tried.OH went on in a huff earlier as my housemates kinda abandoning her dogs at the moment and they're using our kitchen as a toilet, really not impressed.
I'm really really not impressed either. That's cruel to the dogs  and very poor housekeeping if it should have been avoidable .Oh and I left his bike in our shed which doesn't lock, but thought it was ok as you can't actually get into our garden at all from elsewhere.
Er, doesn't he have a chain lock anyway?
Safe journey and have a lovely Christmas

Feeling much better though thank you, if a little lazy. My car is parked about 20mins walk away and I can't be bothered to move it so I can go home oops.RosaBernicia wrote: »Oh no, poor you! :grouphug: I hope you get better soon. (If you don't I'll have to suggest trying garlic syrup...)

I've had a word with her about the dogs.
OH's bike is going to his Mums when I go for Xmas so won't have to worry about it anymore from then
Have a lovely christmas too everyone. I just looked at my account and money is going to be a bit tight going into the new year as OH owes me £135 and sister still owes me money, but hopefully that'll come through at the right moments and if not I have that secret stash of emergency moneySo pleased I managed to keep that aside. £300+ will most certainly help but really don't want to use it if I don't need to
Thanks for all the support and encouragement everyone. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I don't post between then xxDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
