Thank you lovelies :-) I managed to only buy buscapan as my IBS is bad today, woke up at 1am in so much pain from trapped wind I was almost sick, wispa gold for me, Rita sport for oh, loaf of bread and a bottle of 89.9% absinthe for my dads Xmas present. I had to check that he'd drink it responsibly first though. Total sum was about £45. Gave OH £15 from his fleabay sales. I'm surrounded by boxes now though as he made me pack everything up ready for Saturday.
OH went out for a breakfast today, to treat himself for not having to have an operation on his knee... I'm not quite sure how I can beat my shopping addiction with him doing this like this instead of eating the yummy lasagne that was in the fridge, words were had and I got told off.
Wasn't a nsd today unfortunately, doubt I'll have another until Sunday either as tomorrow is works drinks and saturday is the great move.
Right, shower, bed.

Sidenote.... just worked out Lloyds charge me 19.3% for being overdrawn with them, plus £5 for being £10+ overdrawn with them. They've charged me £11.13 this month, so I've transferred across the whole overdraft amount and cleared it. £391.13 done and dusted, bye bye Lloyds TSB. One less debtor to pay
Wasn't sure if this worked out more expensive than freemans as the 19.3% + £5 seemed more expensive than 2% a monthDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Well 2% per month would be about £8, which is less than £11.13 - so yes, they are more expensive."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

My round in the pub last night was about £17, and lunch was £1.09 (m&s lemon cheesecake as had nibbles following town hall meeting) so not too bad a day. Although £19.49 has been spent on a veg box for the OH which should last him 2-3 weeks. He's a bit blue at the moment as he has no money and uni isn't challenging him enough so I thought he deserved to at least be eating well. Will take this out of my own budget for the week.
Today is moving house day, finally get to sleep without earplugs as the road outside the new place isn't as noisy and the diybke glazing actually works. Current landlord is insisting I owe him £102 which I know I definitely don't,and seeing as he's not sent me an invoice he can go fish.
Will be able to pay off more debt tomorrow after I've paid the man and van, which is quite exciting as will hopefully put me near 30/40% paid off *claps*Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Gah, I've spent £120 today in Ikea and £100 yesterday on moving and take-away. I definitely feel like I've splurged, but they were definitely need items rather than want items. I needed to get heavy velvet curtains so that I can block out the sound of the road and the draft as the windows in my room are single glazed. I also needed to get a curtain rail for said curtains, which has come in the form of a curtain wire as it's a bay window and ended up being cheaper than a rail
I possibly didn't need the 3 sets of ice cube trays for 99p each, but I'll make soaps with them as gifts and it will work itself out. I did need and use all the 17 pieces of tupperware for £2.59 and they've all been marked with permanent marker for what goes in them. I definitely needed the 8 black boxes as my room is a mess and the chaos has to be organised somehow.
So I guess, even though I splurged, it was for good reason and not just a waste of money. Unfortunately I don't have the right drill to put up the curtains, but the OH will help with that when he comes to visit me in 2 weeks time. I did put the ikea stuff on the c/c not the debit card, so that'll come off my food budget. Tomorrow or Tuesday, whenever I've finished unpacking, I'm hoping to do a mass cooking session in the lovely big kitchen to fill my mostly empty fridge/freezer with yummy food.
Off to watch the vampire diaries then bed now.

I think that's very restrained for an Ikea trip!
Enjoy your new place

Thanks Rosa, I did have a £90 tv unit on my list of things to buy but decided to wait until after Christmas
I also told the OH yesterday how I get the urge to splurge whenever I get large amounts of money come in. He said he knows what that's like and that he'll try to help me get through it when I get like that. He also said I don't need to buy things for other people because they like me just the way I am
