Thanks Cherry, I have flights to Canada to book before then though.
OH is coming to stay for a few days, so I'm just off to mr W with a list so that we don't go when he's here as that turns out even more expensive than if I go on my own. Unfortunately I'm also hungry, so might have to buy a gingerbread snowman *sniggers*

On the way home I spent £10.47 on the debit card as I couldn't remember the c/c pin, oops! Bought two different types of deodorant rock as my Sure doesn't seem to be working. This is my attempt at environmentally friendly deodorant so let's see how it goes =)

    Evening update:

Hmm.. the deodorant rocks look funny but will see how I get on, can't be worse than bad smelling Sure anyway.

Mr W wasn't too bad actually, although I grabbed a few things I didn't set out to in the first place.
    So...

    2 ales................................£3.06 (buy 2 save £1)
    shepherds pie......................£2.00 (3 for £6)
    penne arrabiata...................£2.00 (3 for £6)
    vegetable lasagne................£2.00 (3 for £6)
    y/valley organic skimmed milk.£1.00
    organic white tin loaf............£0.45 (reduced)
    cheddar cheese...................£2.39
    pizza..................................£5.00
fresh coffee for OH...............£5.00 (2 for £5 last week in Mr T it was 2 for £6:eek:)
    organic broccoli....................£1.39
organic red onions.................£1.07 (no loose ones)
0.15kg mushrooms @2.99/kg...£0.45 (cheaper than packet & no packaging)
    total..................................£25.81

Then I had to go and get petrol as the light has been on for the past two weeks+ and we need the car for this weekend. OH also needs it for his hospital appointment on Thursday.

Went to the seaside petrol station ;) if you know which one, as the car seems to run a bit longer with theirs. Happened to be cheapest in the area too :T although I wasn't pleased with the cost 133.9p/ltr
Anyway, 42.56ltrs later and I'm £56.99 down with a full tank. I bought myself a Wispa Gold as I was starving by this point.

    Petrol station total..............£57.74

Then made the mistake of going to McD where I wasted £4.97 on the most disgusting food I've ever tasted, so disgusting I only ate the chips. The milkshake was far, far too sweet and the burger was vile. Never, ever again!

Oh and it was all on the debit card as I've forgotten the c/c pin number and was on the phone to the OH when I was meant to be checking it in my files. Argh!

Going to take a shepherds pie in for lunch tomorrow and have a NSD. Hoping Thursday can be another. My target for this month is 10 NSD's, so 2 a week :)

Just called CreditExpert and cancelled my account with them, much to the dislike of the pushy sales bloke "no I just want to cancel.... no I don't want an alert service I just want to cancel.... no I have noddle instead..... noddle is free..... no I do not want to pay £1.99 a month....." argh! So that's a saving of £6.99 a month whoop whoop =)

Oh and the mineral salt deodorant and the anti-odorant seem to be working this morning... have told my colleague I apologise if they don't =/ However, tube was hot on the way in and I walked from Old Street yet I still smell fresh as a daisy yay!

NSD today, have shepherds pie in the work fridge for lunch... should probably have checked it's microwaveable, oh well it is now! Yoghurt and museli for brekkie om nom nom.

Thanks Cherry, they've sent me an email to confirm yay :)

OH has just landed and I cooked him pizza. Shepherds pie burnt my tongue by the way, very mean dindins =( Convinced OH that because he's having a blood test tomorrow he only needs to have 1 of the 2 ales I bought him yesterday, this means he won't dip into my Dads xmas pressie ones hehe.

Deodorants seem to be working, although reading the daily one seems to have alum in which I need to research whether that's aluminium as the whole point was to not have breast cancer causing ingredients used on my skin each day. Oh and that it works out cheaper and healthier overall. I don't smell today though, so must be working as tube makes you a bit sweaty *holds nose*

NSD today yay! Although I'm not counting transferring the VSP to round down my a/c whenever I go on there. I have become obsessed with £2 coins so much so that I swapped one for 2 £1 coins from the OH hehehe. I have £54 in pots in my room now, how I managed that I have no idea, but very pleased with myself. Tomorrow will be another NSD as I've got a ready meal in the fridge and OH can cook me pasta when I get home, there's lovely veg there which I bought yesterday.

Bless my Dad I told him to look on Mr W for turkey crowns for xmas dindins and he chose the £24 instead of the £26 because it's cheaper... although it was the one that caught my eye when I looked and it has stuffing om nom nom. So will just need some veg, a lidl gammon and that's the roast done and dusted. I think my sister said she's got the xmas cake.... otherwise might have to learn to bake between now and then. I miss the xmas puddings my Nana made us, they always had 5p coins in and normally a plastic dead fly as a joke.

The OH is talking to me about having babies gah! Although now he's talking to his Dad about doing a masters?!?! "Get a job?" hehehe.

Hope you're all well and having a lovely week.

    *hugs*

It's usually potassium aluminium sulphate (a compound often found in toothpaste for example). It's not the same as aluminium metal. Does aluminium cause breast cancer?

I'll be impressed if he pulls that off. Where's it going to drop out of?

As I understand it, this link was promoted several years ago and has been investigated since with no evidence found. See http://info.cancerresearchuk.org/healthyliving/cancercontroversies/deodorants/ for a summary.

Kerri, if you're worried about it pm me as I have some contacts who will have more info (both research and complementary med sides).

Oh phew that's ok then. Not worried about it, I doubt the world could be so cruel to give me another cancer I already got rid of the first one :j I am trying to use more natural products and less chemicals though, so that's another reason to stick with the non-sprays =)

Z that made me laugh and confused my OH.

Incidentally he's banned me from talking about money grrr. How to stay focused without talking about it.

cherry it used to make us all chuckle as Grandad would pretend to be really scared :rotfl:

Right, teeth then bed. Night night all xx

Almost all the products I use now are 'natural' stuff - partly because I have sensitive skin and they tend to be better for that, partly because I am an incurable hippie, and also because I don't like most of the artificial scents.

    Night night :)
