  • :rotfl: well sorry to hear about the bruises :( (do these count as UPI's - Unidentified Party Injuries?) but sounds like you had a fab time.

    Thanks Rosa, Cherry :)

    Not unidentified I'm afraid, my feet went out from underneath me on laminate flooring and I fell down about 5 steps. My leg feels really dodgy. I've got myself pizza and Just Go With It on tv =) I wish the OH was here, he's hungover too though, could do with a cuddle.

    Oh dear, apology texts and replies to messages I've no idea who they're from have been sent. Whole right hip is absolute agony. Oh and I may have spent the entire night teasing MissedHisChance as well as telling NeverBuysARound's housemates boyfriend that he's in love with her oops. Alcohol ban until New Years when the OH will be with me.

    My entire body aches today =( the alcohamol has worn off and I'm trying to work out why half my body feels battered and bruised.

    Anyway, finances update as I had my freemans statement come in just two minutes ago...
    27/10/2011 Balance from last statement ...........916.41
    18/11/2011 Payment Received - Thank You ........50.00CR 866.41
    24/11/2011 Payment Received - Thank You ..........6.41CR 860.00
    27/11/2011 Interest charged since last statement 24.80 ...884.80
    New balance £884.80
    Credit limit £900.00
    Credit available £15.20
    Payment Information
    Minimum Monthly payment £44.24
    Payment to reach us by 20/12/2011

    They've reduced my credit limit by £50 again this month, this is good I want less credit available to me yay. I don't like the amount of interest they charge me each month it's disgusting :( and it means I'm only paying back £25 a month. Just need to wait for funds to clear on Vanquis then will make a payment =) I'd like to pay £84.80 to bring the total down to £800 but need to find out if Lloyds are going to pay me this week, fed up of waiting.

    Oh tablets taken today, forgot for most of the weekend though eep.

    OCD got the better of me, have just whacked £4.80 onto Freemans, will pay off a larger sum when Lloyds pay me. Just means the amount is now rounded down to the nearest £10 whoop whoop

    Just trying to work out what I pay in interest each month...
    Vanquis.... £36.86
    Freemans.. £24.80
    Lloyds...... £11.59
    HSBC......... £5.21
    ==============
    Total.........£78.46
    ==============

    That's a months shopping for most people =|

    I've thrown £20 at Lloyds overdraft this evening, and £36.86 to clear the interest on Vanquis. This means that Lloyds won't charge me when they interest goes in on the 1st, and Vanquis will have been paid in full. That means no interest for Vanquis next month, although Lloyds will charge me interest grrr.

    Just got off the phone to OH and told him about the enormous amount of interest I pay each month. Told him I'm clearing the catalogue with my PPI refund as I don't want to spend £300 a year on debt for that.

    So...
    ...£1900 refund
    - £880 freemans
    ======
    £1020

    Hmm so that could pay off the Lloyds overdraft...

    £1020
    - £400 lloyds overdraft
    =====
    £580

    After deposit that'll probably be it all gone, but look how much better off I'll be =) No more £25 catalogue interest and no more £11 Lloyds interest each month, whoop whoop. That interest can go into the bed fun.

    I spent just over £2 today on a fruit compote & granola yoghurt and 4 hot x buns from Mr T. I need to start a grocery spend count... that can go on the 2nd post too.

    Feeling excited about debt free future :j

    So if you pay off Freemans and Lloyds what will you have left?
    Vanquis really needs to be your next target as the interest on that is so high.
