Sun shining here toobut it's still very windy ..... have had a lovely walk on the beach
and given the grass it's first cut of the years - which reminded me I need a new blade for the lawn mower!

Ohhhh PIC congratsI'd love a couple of chickens ..... and I'd love to see them too!
Hey I 'rounded down' and moved £4.70 into my ISAGoing to make this a weekend activity :rotfl:
:j:j It is great, isn't it!:D I wish I'd had the sense to think of it a long time ago!
Westlothianlass of course you're more than welcome to join us ... as SF says we're a friendly bunch:). I will warn you tho' someone called me "nuts (in the nicest way of course) the other day ... I am a bit eccentric!:)
Not sure what else I'm going to get up to today ..... I started to move some stocks from the "overflow" cupboard in the lounge (emergency winter stores as was totally stuck for 3 weeks last year) back into the kitchen as there was daylight in these at last!:o
My hoarding did get totally out of hand towards the end of last year - I think it was a panic at not being able to drive for 9+ weeks which took me up to mid-Nov (when the bad weather hit the year before) but I did really go a bit OTT:o......
Still - it should hopefully help balance out the grocery budget for a few weeks!:)
Have a great afternoon everyone & enjoy the sun!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

................ and so say all of us! Hi all, I feel a bit of a fraud posting with all my spends of late, but they're unavoidable things. Then to make matters worse, poor ol' doggy has suddenly started losing loads of hair from his tail. He now has an almost bald section, along the length, and some hairless bits on the joints of his rear legs, so that's another trip to the vets.
One of my mates has phoned to say she's taking me out tomorrow for a birthday lunch (birthday isn't for 2 months!), cos she has a voucher for 25% discount at one of the London hotels, and had a very good final month selling Avon.
I must admit, I didn't go to any of her parties because I always find myself buying things I don't want, but apparently a lot of people did, as it was the last one.
Mowed the grass again this morning, still on the high cut, and weeded and tidied 12 pots - only another 28 to go! Only another 5 sleeps until stretch limo and 02 - and I've now found out it's Elvis!

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this but I'm back skipping meals again
and could do with prayer/kind thoughts.
Just because someone on another thread said they were fat. And I've mega grumpy and uber sensitive all weekend. Getting offended and upset at least little thing...It's driving me nuts...
Just want it to stop before I defensively bite anyone else's head off...

Ooh Slowly how close is W Day now! Hope the weather continues as it is and it's a beautiful Sunshiny day for you.
Been spending a fair bit with a little Grandson due but it's nice spends if you know what I mean.
Have had a lovely weekend and out everyday, Friday with DD baby shopping, DD and OH yesterday for a drive out to Cleveleys then popped into Blackpool, then today to a carboot with OH then the park with the dog. But during all this the ball of my big toe has been aching so much and now I can't bend my big toe!
Feels a bit like when my thumb went and I had to have a cortisone injection in it. I can see the same happening with my toe
Anyhoo bought a bowl from Mr As for 97p and I'm now soaking my feet!!! It might help...
Hugs to all

Erme, please take care of yourself. Cutting meals isn't a good idea, especially as it was someone else who said they were fat. I'm sure you could make something delicious in your Kenwood, and it would give you the chance to try something new as well.:)
I had a Moulinex decades ago, and used to make fantastic pastry with the dough hooks, but they were awful to clean!
Take care.
