Morning all. Have just lit another candle for Diva. As its Children in Need today we wear our own clothes for work so I will be wearing purple:)

On the flying front - have swished and swiped the kitchen and put DW on.
Got to get DS1 out of pit and get ready for work.

Better nights sleep thanks to a sleeping tablet  hate having to take them but seem to have no choice at the moment.

It is DD1's 16th birthday today :) so both DDs managed to get up early to do presents etc, strange that

Living room looking a bit of a bomb site again thanks to DD2 leaving her stuff everywhere!
DD1 and I are far from pleased with her at the moment as she hasn't done any tidying in the bedroom so DD1's friend has nowhere to sleep tonight!
I'm not backing down, I'm not going to do it! And if she thinks she'll be getting full pocket money she's got another thing coming!!

I'm going to finish my coffee, get dressed and start on this list I've jusy made up :o

    Strip beds
    Put WM on
    Unload DW
    Reload DW
Gather up DDs carp and dump in their room
    Tidy round Living room
    Dust
    Hoover Living room & hall

I'll be back after that :D

Ouch! Quite glad I don't have to buy them anymore - although I do get a strange urge at the beginning of Sept to buy stationery! :D

  • Funeral went well (?) - he was given a good send off! The closing music in the the church was the Kinks - Dedicated Follower of Fashion - very appropriate!

It was a lovely day weather wise.

I was really glad i went - I got to meet a couple of family members I haven't met before. but it was 2 hours there by train.... and 2.5 hours return (2 changes and 25 mins freezing on Doncaster station) and i am decidedly cream crackered today!
