Don't forget it's purple day today for those who knew Diva xx

Was in school today and the TA in the class that I'm in said that she was leaving in Jan as her bf live in Devon so she's going down there with him. Came home and looked on the eteach website, and the job is on there....I'm not quite fluent in Welsh....but do mostly speak it in class, and I'm not level 3......am working on that now...almost half way through....Do you think it would be worth speaking to the Head and see if he thinks it is worth me applying.....It is the Governers that appoint the staff??????

    ANY ADVICE GREATLY RECIEVED xx

    RIP Diva xx

It seems AGS is in the 'dog house' :rotfl: he has been 'teaching' the little girl, English, so far so good, but he is then telling her the wrong item for the word, for example 'cat' once she can say this to 'his' satisfaction, he then is pointing to a chair, so the little girl now thinks all chairs are called cats, the table is now dog, the dog is elephant and so it goes on!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I give him 10/10 for initative, and it seems he thinks it is very funny, it seems corrective English is required when I get there! poor little girl, but she is being put into the local school as she is likely to be there till Feb time.

tooch always express an interest. i regularly have to 'nudge' the person an internal advert is aimed at. Worst case is they know you are interested.

PP - not had chance to do the research yet but will come back to you shortly. Watching out for the dry cure pork.

I'm still waiting for news from our LA and have been researching a list of schools to visit. DH has been off today and we have ordered my 3rd wedding ring. 1st was heavy and fell off my finger and is lost, 2nd White gold with stones caused skin to react after half hour wear, 3rd is very thin and light so hopefully wont hurt my poorly fingers (should be ready 7-10 days).

well I have made the beds (love bedchange day) and washed some stuff and dried some stuff and ironed some stuff. And done errands. DD is out so DS and I have had chicken korma. With a jar of sauce and whoopsied chicken. Chicken was yellow stickered (am not used to Asda as it's just opened) but tyhe one I picked didn't have a price/barcode. The others were £2.97...nice man at the till (self checkout) asked me if £2 was ok. Guess what I said! Oh, and sssh but the korma was BBE March 2011 tasted fine though ;)

Have got all the stuff to sell on flea bay in one box now; as nearly all BiL's stuff has sold. Can now focus on the rest of the 'collectables' my mum gave me to sell, courtesy of the attic clearout. It would appear, everytime an elderly relative died, they boxed up the bits and shoved it up there? Do you think anyone would be interested in a s/h Braun Ladyshave, 1980s vintage?

I've also brought the rest of the ink cartridges home from school, which aren't being used, aren't wanted and which I'm selling for school funds..I have made about £30 so far!

With all the best will in the world something always happens, that darn tummy upset I got last Friday has turned into a vile infection so I've had ups days & down days but caved in & went to GP today. So progress has been minimal but things are no worse than they were last week, so ta good. Just booked onto a day conference/developmental day in London on the 8th of December so I must be fixed by then.

This weekend I will make some more progress, I shall be back with a list of what I will achieve ....
One day I might be more organised...........

Sort out a cupboard or drawer - do you actually use everything in it? - what can you get rid of? - what's being saved because you might use it when you're 102? Sorted my drawer where things are just dumped in.

Was thinking of Diva and had my purple socks on. Did not notice till DGS pointed out they were two odd purple socks. lol.

I DO have an eye infection. So I'm glad I listened to my parents and OH rather than the pharmacist. I may also have a cyst but my eyelid is too sore for them to look...

Flying this week has been limited to filling/emptying the DW, washing up and minimal cooking. I've nearly finished unpacking. And I really need to get my act together tomorrow, as stuff NEEDS doing...
