Actually, you wouldn't have to move far :D we now have cloudless blue sky, too!

Ooooooh :( we've still got low grey cloud here....if i suck and you blow PenPen do you think we could move those blue skies over to this side of the Humber too?

Dailies are done; and rice is cooking for lunch. Once that's been decluttered I AM going to write my Christmas lists.

    Be back later. xx

    Afternoon

Today's list has all been done this week, including the decluttering one. I also bought my stamps for Christmas cards this morning (the ones I'm going to write when I have time off next month). I double checked I had enough cards before I went to the shops and I do.

Lovely day, washing on the line.

OK, I'm officially a day behind with Flying, and going to have to work one-handed today, due to the pain in my shoulder - this should be interesting!
Let's have a wee look at what's already covered and see what I actually need to try and do.....

    Wednesday - Kitchen

    Level One
    Clear and wipe surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep/mop floorDone already
    Clear a hotspotThere aren't any
    Level Three
Clean cupboards, drawers and kickboards (outside)
Clean skirting boardsMr LW tells me he already did this, when he did the kitchen floor.
    Clean tiles or washable walls

    Declutter mission

Sort out a cupboard or drawer - do you actually use everything in it? - what can you get rid of? - what's being saved because you might use it when you're 102?

Thursday - Master Bedroom, landing and stairs

    Level One
    Strip, wash and replace bedding
    DONE at weekend
    Level Two
    Hoover BR, landing and stairs
DONE by Mr LW at weekend
    Dust all fluffy surfaces
    Level Three
Sort out your underwear drawer - what needs replacing? - or sort out a box under the bed
Underwear is fine (knickers sorted/replaced in April, bras in June; I finally found some bras to fit me in Belgium!!) There's nowt under the bed except the jigsaw board, which lives there.
    Clean skirting boards
    Check smoke alarms

    Declutter mission

HHP - spend HH sorting out some paperwork - file it, shred it, deal with it!
NO paperwork outstanding; 'tis all up to date.

    Afternoon all

Meeting with window guy went as expected, ok but not great. Snagging to be done next week but doesn't change the fact that I don't like them.

Went into the new Sainsbury in town and it was good, just the right size for regular shopping, not too big and split on two floors so food on one and if you want clothes, homeware etc it is all upstairs.

Got some great help from an Estate Agent for DS2 re career choices and he has even agreed to make some phone calls to contacts to see if he can get him some work experience next summer - hope he is pleased.

Going to try to complete my list upto yesterday. Leaving bedroom until the weekend.

Seem to decluttered a stupid amount of money in and around Milton Keynes today.
    Dentist

Got a 3 bird roast from Aldi, £6.50 or something like that.

OH's small pressies (he did say we weren't doing them, this year, but has now changed his mind!! :T:rotfl:)

Little girl, it seems skipping ropes are 'old fashioned' in Milton Keynes cannot find one for love nor money. So been to local Industrial Farmers supply shop, (normally they sell combine harvesters etc) they sell thin rope, more than happy to cut me a 3 meter length, this will be cut agian when I work out how much the child needs, I have some large wooden things with holes in them, thread the rope through and tie in a knot, job done!! Stickers, hair baubble things, snowman snow dome thingy, dot to dot book, playing cards in the shape of santa, more stickers, plastic drinker beakers, all bought job done. £5.50 in total so well happy. (rope was free, as I chatted the bloke up!!:o:o)

Totally shocked at how much children's pencils cases are, £3.50 to about £8 :eek: clearly I am not shopping at the right shops.

Hacked off with Sainsbury's, (as I have been saving them up with pertol purchased over the year) checked with the girl before I start I could use my nectar pont, yes no problem she goes, off I go.

Get to till, to be told, you can only use them at your 'home' store, and further more you need to use your card in this store 3 times, before we can change it, to this being your home store!! going to ring Head office to see what I can do!

    Hello flyladies

DH got back at 8.45 last night. I was so tired I lasted untl 9.30 and had to go to bed. He did the midnight pick up of DS1.

DS1 has got an interview with Tesco's tomorrow. If he gets the job you will see fireworks diverting flights at Stansted because anything has got to be better than this early an late one.

I've been to work today and had a pedicure and a free manicure so I feel quite relaxed today.

DS2 has gone back to school. He's not allowed to do PE and we are driving him in and home again so he doesn't over exert himself. He is rather annoyed by this as he wants to walk with his friends.

Kitchen is lovely and tidy - DH went in late today after his long drive home from Liverpool yesterday and gave the kitchen a blitz.

I've ordered the parts for the washing machine but think I'm going to be without a machine for the weekend. I will take the uniforms down to MIL tonight as the little ones have a non uniform day tomorrow. The washing is piling up alarmingly so I will undoubtedly be very stressed next week!

Greenbee - as I have just spent 166 quid so far trying to fix my microwave I would suggest you buy a new one unless you have an extended warranty.
    Kazwookie - 6.50 for a 3 bird roast - nice price!
JJ - hope your finger isn't too sore.
Dusty & PenPen- I hope the dogs and puppies go away.

Todays list done, bedroom looking fab :T I'm not however so I'm having 15 mins sit down before an S&S of the LR and kitchen, and then making rubber chicken soup for tonights dinner. OH is working his second job I think so if I make it now he can have some before he goes. Sold another thing from faceache and have a few more to list later, but I think OH has already spent the money on a new buggy (the wheels keep falling off the current one...) Also have my Chrimbo cake fruit to soak later. Might have a sneaky dram of the brandy to get me to sleep later...
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...

It might be worth trying Home Bargains or Poundland-type shops for these, though I have to admit they aren't something I've had to buy for a while :D

It's the best day here in AGES for drying stuff - I've left three loads of washing plus bedding outside - hopefully someone will bring it in before it gets dark as I don't get home from work till 8pm.
