Starting to recover from being away. Can't get used to the cold thoughneed to get my curtain poles sanded, painted and up again so I can put my curtains back up again. Electrician has made a start but I need to get stuff out of the way so he can do the bits he needs to. We're going to put network cabling under the floors so we don't have to rely on wireless for internet access as it's not really good enough for work.
My eyelid is inflamed and is driving me nuts. Pharmacy can't give me anything until it's been more than 5 days. Did they bother to tell me to bathe it in warm water every two hours though? Nope... Medical opinion seems to be that if it's not better tomorrow go to the surgery before the weekend. The upper Eyelid is red and swollen and I have a lovely purple bruise below my eye.
Lots of work to try to get done, so will do that in front of the fire. DW filters cleaned, DW unloaded and washing up done. Need to try to finish unpacking and laundry, and get kitchen a little tidier!0 -
Evening all
Never really settled to the flying today. Feeling shattered tonight, I must get my sleeping back on track soon. I've got the black dog lurking which is so not like me. Kids all seem to have black puppies snapping at their heels too.
Dreading tomorrow morning as the window guy is coming round to see all the things I'm not happy with.
Off to tidy up from dinner. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good evening all, hope you are all well xx Been MI[STRIKE]A[/STRIKE] doing college work, house looks like a bomb now though. I am nearly caught up with the washing and ironing and the main bed has been stripped and replaced with clean bedding.
