Good Morning All

Happy Birthday Miss Gingin

((PP))) My Dad lives near Rye and I love it - best for fish and chips.

Got up at 7 today which is my perfect lie in. Have cleaned kitchen, emptied DW, hoovered and washed kitchen floor - oh and have bleached sink. DS football cancelled this morning due to waterlogged pitch and that is why have been able to get on with so much. Loads more washing to do today and need to wash the hall mat as puppy had an accident. Result of this will be lots of ironing which will be done later and tomorrow.

DD is driving me mad at the mom, every 5 mins I am nagging her to do something - clean teeth, put shoes away etc, and half the time it turns into a full blown row. So decided to try a differect tact - not going to bother doing anything, if her washing doesnt get put in the washing basket then it doesnt get washed and she will go to school in dirty crumpled clothes. Hope this works as she is really pushing everyone at the moment. Have also told her that I wont be going in her bedroom anymore - lets see how much of a tip it turns into and if she likes that or not. Think have done too much for over the years - DS's not like that and he is a pleasure to have around. She's 11 and I know puberty is happening but to be truthful she has always been like this.

Anyway very sorry to go on and there's loads more people with much worse problems than this but she has been really wearing me down.

Anyway I promise to shut up now, have got pork escalopes with sauted pots for tea and then popping over my uncles for this birthday do.

There is tension in the haribo house this morning....
OH insisted kids were allowed to stay up late last night watching Dvds with him while I did the clearing up. When I lost it and packed them off to bed he promised to read them 3! stories in our bed and they all promptly fell asleep there. The girls room was a pigsty. (how can they wreck it so quickly after school?) so I was forced to sleep on the sofa.:mad:
I say sleep but I didn't much and my back and neck are in agony.
Got up to make myself a nice pot of "real" coffee to discover OH has nicked it for his office.
So I have been doing lots of stomping around and the three of them are still in my bed watching cartoons while I wash their bloom'in clothes.
Aaaaaaaargh.
Rant over. working in the shop for three hours today. One D has ballet, then birthday party this afternoon.
Chicken stuffed and ready for tea. Downstairs tidy. Upstairs not.
I'm loving coming on here. It's so much nicer to join in than to snoop:D

I had a bad nights sleep too, DH came up to bed after my well earned early night and said I had a text - did I want him to read it to me - I said yes and it was from my pregnant (6mths) friend - having a really bad time with her DH doesnt know if she loves him, she works at my school, not having a good time there either. She sounded really low and I hadnt picked up my message and felt bad all night for not contacting her - she is so low she will think I didn't care (you know what I mean). Have texted her this morning but heard nothing. Hope everythings ok there.

Not posted on the daily thread for a while cos by the time I get here normally its over 100 posts long, lol!

Hope everyone is well. Penny, look after yourself hon.

I got up a bit later this morning. I've not been sleeping too well. Got a huge questionaire from the psychiatrists I have to fill on before I get my app'ts. Its a bit scary really as it will make me face the childhood stuff I have been burying. Ovbiously I know I have to get these things ;out' so I can get better but its so hard.

Anyway, CHEER UP LISA! :rolleyes:

I have a load of washing on. There is at least 5 more loads to do today as well. I honestly have no idea where on earth it comes from. There are 4 of us in this house, madness! :eek:

Must get some chicken out of the freezer in a mo. Homemade chinese takeaway for tea tonight. We have homemade pizza hut last night!

The whole house needs a good clean, so will make a start on that.

DH has a new job starting a week Monday! Money has been ok, spesh cos he got redundancy but its good that we will have proper regular income that we can live on. My money would pay the mortgage but nowt else!

Thinking of asking DH to clear my debts (in my sig) as he has the money to di it. Cheats way I know but I spend 5 years living in the middle east with him helping him earn money iyswim, the least he can do is help me now hes got it. Maybe I'm selfish, I dunno

Well it's my youngest DSs 6th Birthday today aswell, so hopefully taking them out somewhere later. DP is going to work unfortunately, doing extra today 11am until probably about 4am tomorrow, so making him some sandwiches to take in a minute. So it's just me and the boys, possibly a play area somewhere. Have to go to Tesco too as DS broken his glasses, plus a I need a few groceries. I wonder if we can do it in under 2 hours this time :rotfl:

Well I best go get DP up and make his breakfast, hope everyone has a good day.

well today i must must must do the dreaded budget.
have to go to dss 2's house today and help build a fence. so not much os will be going on here today, good job i had such a productive day yesterday.
going to take the budget stuff with me and do it there and maybe it will encourage dss 2 and his wife to budget a bit better with what they have. going to take a good book and my knitting with me too.

Well I had an awful night last night, I was nearly in 3 seperate car crashes (all in the same journey) the scariest of the 3 was my fault though which made it worse!
I tried to pull out at a junction, where it is difficult to see, I was there a while (trying to be safe!) then a car pulled up behind me and started revving, so I ended up pulling out into oncoming traffic, I was very lucky that they weren't going very fast or I would have been hit on my side and who knows what?
I couldn't stop shaking all night!
On a better note though, (for anyone who doesn't know my dog had puppies on boxing day (9))
4 have been "asked" for (not ready to go until mid Feb) and my dad rang last night to ask if he could have 1! I t was so funny my dad asking ME for something! (free of charge of course!) my stepmam asked for 2 but my dad is trying to talk her out of it!:rotfl:
they are coming over tonight for her to see them (my dad has already seen them) and i'm sure they'll end up with 2............!-they already have 2 very (LARGE) alsations!:eek:
my dad has bred dogs though and has some land so I know they will be well looked after.
