Good morning everyone,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS GINGIN
PP - ((HUGS))
Quiet here at the moment, with just DS and me. I hope DD has had a lovely time - no phone call so looking good. Will be pleased to see her later tho, its very strange not having her here.
My sister and her family are coming down for the day today, they will be meeting us at DSs football match, which starts at 11 (we have to be there for 10.30). Its been raining overnight, so although it will be muddy, hopefully it wont be too cold.
Ive promised DS that i would make waffles for breakfast, so need to find a recipe now, as i cant find the recipe book that came with the machine.
Right, off to get the recipe and get ready for that muddy field!!!
Have a lovely day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Morning every-one , i hope you are all well. Penny pincher, i dont know what to say except i really admire the way you deal with your health problems and really hope things improve for you.I dont think any-one can understand fully the impact of long term illness/pain unless they go through it. Hugs to you especially, today.
I have had the usual up and down night with my 4 yr old ds. Kyle , i really understand your lack of sleep and hope your little one sleeps through soon.
Happy birthday miss gingin, have a great time today.
Well today i really need to tidy, declutter and get some washing done. Truth is my house isnt big enough for all the stuff we have , so never looks tidy for long. Husband was moaning earlier about all the clutter, so i thought that if i baggged his stuff and threw it out onto our front doorstep it would make adequate room for the surplus stuff!! hehe, not really but i do wish he would get a life and stop moaning over such trivial things. It certainly doesnt set me up for the day hearing negative moaning.
I didnt end up meeting my sister yesterday as she had a crisis and hope to see her today with her 2 girls.I have a sainsburys food delivery coming at 4.Wouldnt normally do my food shop there except they are the only "big" shop that accepts my visa electron debit card on-line.
Have a great day every-one and hugs to those in need of one. Love Elaine“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0 -
Happy Birthday Miss GinGin.
And a hug for all who need one.
Morning all,
Kyle, my 7 year old has never needed much sleep either and is rarely still asleep after 5.30 am. He is only just learning now that he doesn't have to wake my 5 year old and 2year old to keep him company!!!
All well here, OH is absoloutely exhausted and is struggling to do anything really. Got to keep the kids away from him today and let him rest. The GP has given him 2 weeks off but looking at him I think he will need longer.
Got to tidy up today, and make a big pan of stew. I also need to update our 'books' as we have slipped a little further back in to our overdraft what with the extra bus fares, and taxis last week (£23.00 to pick up the kids from nursery and after school club on Mon.)
My first tesco online shop arrived last night and it was excellent. I think we need a storecupboard challenge to clear the stocks. OH normally shops daily on top of our big shop and it's a habit I haven't been able to get him out of as he doesn't believe in freezing bread and milk, and of course always comes home with extras!! Now's my chance to sort this out, there is 18 pints in the freezer along with 4 loaves and my excuse is that he can't do it for a while. Hopefully I can now start reducing the cost of the shopping every week, and I won't be tearing my hair out at all of the whoopsies he brings home.
Anyway, enough rambling. Have a good day everyone,
Smoky. xxxIf you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape 100 days of sorrow.......Chinese proverb

morning all,
I have been up since 5 as well - DS is full of cold and has been coughing on and off all night. OH stayed in bed and DS and I went out early to do the shopping - just some veg and fruit to last us until payday when I will be doing a big shop. Just found out that some friends are coming up to visit tomorrow which is lovely, but now trying to work out what to feed them that is cheap and cheerful! Will probably go for jacket potatos with beans, cheese and salad. I have some sausages in the freezer that can be served alongside. I will be cooking for 6 adults and four children:eek:
It does mean that I will have to pop out again to get some salad, but I think I will wait until this afternoon when the market is packing away and get one of their end of day bargins to keep the costs down.
Today I am planning on turning a single bed duvet into a cot bed sized one for DS. The sewing machine is set up ready, I just need to measure out and pin. It worked out so much cheaper buying a single bed set and converting it - the cot bed sets are really expensive!
Hugs to everyone who needs them, hope you all have a lovely Saturday.
