Buying a bed query from "homealone".

"Which?" did a survey earlier this year, not on buying a bed but on buying mattresses.

Top of the survey were Warren Evans and John Lewis each with a customer score of 85%. Next in line was Marks & Spencer, then House of Fraser.

The three stores with the lowest results were Dreams (worst), then Argos, then Bensons for Beds.

Silentnight, Furniture Village, Ikea and Sleepmasters were in the middle.

I have a container and cloth which I use exclusively for cleaning the loo. I use the cloth to soak up water and then squeeze it into the container, keep going until the loo is empty (there will be a bit of a pong once the water is no longer covering the U bend :D)

not sure you understood my question?

just a mum was answering henmuffin's query about getting the water out of the loo before giving it a good scrub. Nothing to do with your bed query.

That's what's so glorious about this thread, you can ask ANYTHING! Just need to make sure you know what's being answered ...

On the subject of beds, the last one we bought was from John Lewis and it's been absolutely fine.

All I would say is don't buy a cheap mattress, buy the best you can afford, your back will thank you. Lie on a few to see which you find most comfortable.

Memory foam doesn't suit everyone and can be quite warm!

I made some blackcurrant jam over the summer, and I opened a jar today. It tastes good, but some of the blackcurrants seem to have shrivelled and gone tough within the jam. I know there wasn't any shrivelled fruit in the batch (picked it myself), so what went wrong?

(The fruit was frozen for a couple of weeks, as I couldn't cook it on the day of harvest)

    Thank you

I could work it out myself but am bring lazy and I know someone on here will know without having to get the calculator out!

Also when it says 1 egg do I need to use half an egg or will it not make any difference if I put a whole on in?
