Next one would be vinegar, I guess!
or biological washing powder? We had problems with a toilet floor when we moved in here (!) and I used to scatter the powder on at night then scrub it every morning, worked after about a week:)

I think that at the point of order they 'reserve' the money, or possibly the day before delivery is due. But it's a long time since I've ordered from Mr T following their spectacular failure to deliver on the right day, and failure to communicate with us about their spectacular failure to deliver.

  • Sorry if this has been asked before but I have searched and searched and cannot find an answer:

    1. I have washed DS grey fabric pumps and they have come out pink.
He is not impressed, but I didnt think about the inside of the pumps being red when I chucked them in the washing machine. Will I have to fork out for some sort of fabric stain stuff or does anyone know any other way I can sort this ? May just have to buy him another pair :o

    2. I have some older towels that DS uses for swimming, or shower after gym but they are getting really stiff no matter how much fabric softner I use. Does anyone know a cheap OS way to soften towels. I have seen some stuff to buy but its £5.99

Many thanks in advance if anyone can help :)

  • Not sure how much soda crystals cost but am wary of washing them again as I think the red inside may run again. Think I will just have to bite the bullet and buy him a new pair.... only cheap primarni

Will give the white vinegar a try on the towels

    Thanks :)

Anything which has run in the past, it may be worth adding salt to the wash to reduce it happening again.

Towels: if you have a tumble drier, a few minutes will soften them. If you don't, 20p in a launderette td may do the trick, if you have one nearby. Of course could be more than 20p these days!

I haven't tried it myself - I always make batter from scratch - but I can't see why not: batter's the same whatever you use it for, as far as I know.
