Aldi - what to buy?
Options
Comments
-
Ethiopian Ground Coffee (£2 for 200g) - excellent flavour
Lasagne (in fridge section)
Chocolate buttons (35p for 80g)
Olive spread (£1.09 for 500g)0 -
Strawberry & Banana smoothie. Just as good as Innocent and well under £2 for a litre (unlike Innocent who downsized their bottles to 750ml whilst keeping the price high, naughty naughty...).
Their vodka is pretty good too
Other things we buy:
- Frozen chicken breasts (the premium no added water ones are £3.99 I think for 750g) - much cheaper than fresh and the supermarkets. Definitely don't get added water ones though.
- Breaded scampi
- Sole goujons with lime and chilli
- Fajita meal kits0 -
I vote for their dishwasher tablets - the cheaper ones are actually better than their dearer ones! £2.69 for 50
Love the bathroom cleaner - 89p - gets my tiles sparkling
Lacura spray deoderant - no white marks - 89pKondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0 -
We like their version of Mars bars - they're called Titan and are absolutely yummy, about 69p for a pack of 6. Racers are similar to Snick3rs, and they are good too.0

I buy Snackrite Salt your Own Crisps
Aldi Frozen Skinless/Boneless Chicken Breasts
Frozen Chips
Sometimes frozen mash
Frozen Cauliflower Cheese
Fresh fruit and veg
Conserves - Sour Cherry is divine
Chocolate - Dairyfine, Jive Bars (like Twix only more in pack)
Tinned Peaches in Light Syrup
Fresh Sirloin Steak - 100% British (it is the nicest steak I have eaten)
Italian Ham
I buy liquid soap
Lipsyl (their brand is Lacura)
Ice Cream
Frozen Fruit Strudels too - these are great as you get two large pieces so you don't have to try and cut it in half unlike some that you get.0 -
Where would I be without Aldis Redbull Equivalent?? £1.59 for 6 tins, cheapest anywhere...think i'm addicted0
