Ds1 (14) will occasionally have toast but mostly it's nothing until break time when he has a bacon roll or 2.

Ds2 (5) loves porridge but we don't usually have time for it in the week so we save that for the weekend. He's a bit odd and likes 2 different cereals mixed up together._pale_ He's had a few interesting combinations. Wheetos with blueberry shredded wheat anyone.

I have to eat before 9.30 or i get a migrane but usually have to wait until after the school run until i have time. Then i'll have toast with jam or something.

my 2 do that too lol. sometimes they wont have it in the same bowl if they want wheatabix but normally its 2 in the same bowl and they love it esp when they cant decide which one to have! saves so much time!
  • ds normally has cereal with some chopped up fruit or just cereal
or something like a muffin or crumpet usually with marmite and maybe a bit of cheese, he has toast if i buy sliced bread (dont buy it often, and my slices of my hm bread are thicker than the toaster :D )

i normally have the same unless its a school day (hes only part time at the moment) and in that case im rushing round getting ready for him to school, i have my own brekkie when i get home after the school run

my gs (who I mind for his mum to work 3 days a week) has his breakfast as soon as he walks in! Usually it's tinned sausage and beans, but sometimes he asks for either - weetabix with hot milk, a branston pickle sandwich or tinned sweetcorn and peas! odd I know, but I dont care what he eats as long as he eats!
my youngest son had the appetite of a bear coming out of hibernation, in the morning! I have been known to cook him egg and chips or spag bol in the morning! at the very least, it was 3 or 4 weetabix and half a pint of hot soya milk! He spent a lot of time in hospital and was one of the few kids who wanted a hot breakfast! sausage, bacon, beans, tomatoes - LMAO - when asked what he wanted for breakfast he just replied 'Everything'!
  • My two (aged 5 and 6) both have either porridge, ready brek or a cereal like weetabix, cheerio's etc, they'll also sometimes do the having two cereals in one bowl thing lol. They'll also have a glass of juice and sometimes fruit on their cereal too :)
They sometimes go to breakfast club at school, but will still have something at home before hand then have more there, I can't face food before about 10 in the morning, whereas they are hungry practically the second they wake up :rotfl:they've got that from DH I think :D

My 16 yr old DD has always had either rice krispies with milk or weetabix spread with butter then sprinkled with sugar or beans on toast with grated cheese on top. Won't eat toast other than with beans, she would have bacon rolls/sandwiches but I am just to lazy.

DD (3) is a cornflakes girl, she loves them with the teeniest tiniest bit of sugar on top (she doesnt care how much it is as long as the spoon goes in the sugar bowl :rotfl:) DS (10) is currently eating gluten free frosted flakes but he also likes chocopops and occasionally has toast if he can be bothered to turn the grill on. If im in a good mood on a weekend I might make him and his dad bacon butties . . . even then DD still sticks to her cornflakes

  • My son (9) will usually have cereal, often made himself. Or toast. If I get up early enough I'll make poached eggs on toast or omelette but it's rare to be up early since I've been pregnant again.

Sometimes he wakes up early and sneaks downstairs before I wake up and helps himself to all kinds of junk food :rotfl: I try not to beat myself up about it it's very rare.
