no but il hazard a guess and say December's looking good
  • Pull out and put back with another EA. When we had EA's round to value house one of them said house only worth max 55k but he could sell it tomorrow with no hassle for 53k.. Fortunatly i'd done my homework and knew it was wortth much more. It eventually went on with another EA. I had 3 viewings in 3 days and they all were fighting over the house. We raised the ceiling price on our street by 10k and got 2k more than our dreams. Cash buyer as well. Since found out first EA does a lot of buy to let. I seriously think he was after it via a company. Our elderly next door neirbour was taken in by him aprox 7 yrs ago apparently and the price he got for her was silly. Alarm bells rang for another neigbour when he saw the EA at our house and he shot round to warn us. I had already made my mind up not to go with him ccause he was creepy! lolol

solicitor has called, has to have confirmation from new mortgage that they are aware that building insurance is included in service charge, why she didn't do this ages ago don't know.
still not exchanged as a result
buyer has now said that because they aren't getting any more money off they don't want to complete till the 5th of march as they don't want the house to be left empty when they are out of the country.
so they think that will !!!! us off but no, that means that we will be in our lower percentage repayment penalty period so it saves us a few hundred quid. :j :rotfl: :p

so within two seconds she decided to exchange.
the people we are buying off are in tears (holding on to the place was costing them money that they couldn't afford)
I'm so happy i could wet myself ( literally) i'm going to go and pour myself a stiff one now and finally relax
move date 28th of feb :j

    Congratulations zipwen1 !

Perhaps a little bitter-sweet but I'm so glad you are able to move on from this and managed to set the buyer in their proper place :)

I hope you are very happy in your new home, you have a whole month to have a bit of breathing space and sort yourself out gradually. :D

Relax ? surely you've got to start packing.....:p

Glad you told buyer where to get off on last-minute reduction - wonder what would've happened if you'd asked her to pay that amount extra instead:D

Now's about the time to fill in all the junk mail shots you can find - with any luck it'll p*** her off good and proper
