  • I can't really enter this discussion. My parents blew a fortune on my wedding dress. My Mum was very insistent that she's saved every month since I was born and it was all to be spent on my outfit/shoes/make-up/hair for the day. To say I got the MFW guilts is an understatement but it wasn't my money and she gets scary when I say 'no' to her!

MRN - always best not to argue with mum!

Moneycurious - the uggs are calling my name but I'm trying to cover my ears.

I've just listed a couple of items on eBay, the wrong day really as I prefer to do it on a weekend, but I thought I'd seize the moment whilst I was in the mood for it.

Working from home today, as you can guess by the ebay listing..... I can't just sit in front of my screen all day constantly so have to break the day up a bit.... so, I just baked and iced some cupcakes.

Gone are the days when I would pop to Next to break up my day a bit, nowadays a spot of baking or ebaying seem to be the order of the day.

Oh, nearly forgot, need to drop DH's car off at the garage later as it needs to be serviced. It was due in Sept, but we decided to string it out a bit longer to delay the expense. His car is nearly at 100k miles on the clock and thank goodness it still seems to be going strong.

Hopefully they don't find anything that needs to be done to the car when they have it in. Car insurance due on this one next month, eek!
  • why does there always seem to be a reason to spend money...... Dec is a bad month anyway..... have you got those uggs yet??!! hehe!!

    I'm bad sorry!

No, not got the uggs yet... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted but I'm holding out for the time being.

Although they are very lovely, if you are still thinking of them with as much lust once Christmas and New Year are over, then treat yourself.
