Saturday
Trip to to the wholesalers in the morning with one of my girlfriends. A few Christmas presents bought along with Christmas cards, tags and Christmas cards.... All at very MS prices, great quality too! A few Yankee candles bought for selves - half of RRP.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch and had a great natter.
Enjoyed a peaceful hour when DH took the boys to the park in the rain.
Friends over for dinner and then we went to watch the james bond film which we all thighs was great. Dont like cinemas though - too many people for my linking. Dislike women who talk and make noises throughout the film. Dislike ignorant young men who insist in resting their legs on the back of my seat thus jiggling it around for the full duration of the film. I refrained from shouting at any of the annoying people but came close.
Our cinema tickets were free as we used odeon points.
We were going to eat out with friends before the film but offered to cook dinner instead, thus saving a few quid.
Today
Took the boys to the BMx track, they had a great time. No cost.
Whilst there, took the Barbour jacket back to house of Fraser (this is the one where the order couldn't be cancelled) - full refund.
Avoided having lunch out, came home to eat instead, using up various bits and pieces.
Watched a movie on the sofa, love lazy Sunday afternoons. I might have drifted off to sleep for an hour too.
Pasta bake for the boys to tonight - have cooked up a load of sauce and will have a few portions to freeze.
We're having fortunes egg curry. Yum. We're going to go wild though and get a mushroom rice and garlic nan bread from the Indian takeaway to go with it. Will cost maybe £4 but I think it's an excellent compromise on a full
So many expenses coming up in the next few weeks, meh!0 -
:T for staying strong and returning Barbour:T
I haven't been to the cinema for A-G-E-S, however will possibly go on Christmas Eve to watch 'It's a Wonderful Life' at our local wee independent cinema (it's like being in a front room, all comfy chairs and you can have a wine / hot chocolate etc if you like....fabulous. This film is shown every Christmas Eve so it's like a local tradition and you always see tons of people you know:D
I think I have had the laziest Sunday ever, I have genuinely done sweet FA although will have to package ebay item and iron work clothes in a wee while but that's pretty much it.
I think I may have 'sofa' marks on my body so I suppose I'd best get up and move around soon.
Catch up later XFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

That sounds like a wonderful tradition Natty... Sounds like you live in a great place, enjoy! Don't worry about the sofa marks, just embrace them and remain there for the rest of the evening....
I've cooked dinner, will heat it up for when my DH brings the rice and nan from the Indian takeaway. Just had a lovely bath to wash away the cooking smells. Jammies on soon, dinner, few drinks, xfactor and mini toblerones, how much more perfect could life be?0 -
I've made it sound like the 'Gilmore Girls' - I do live in City with proper cinemas honest! but this one is in an Arts Centre.....
Oh almost forgot about X-Factor kick out show, this is the one I like!!!! I have yet to decide what to have for tea, away to drop my daughter off (she has rehearsals for annual show every Sunday), so will have a late supper once I pick her up again (just after 9pm). Will have a wee snack between now and supper time though:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

:rotfl: You sound just like me :rotfl:. Luckily where my work is we have a groovy 30's style cinema with swivel seats and a bar inside the theatre:T.lulabelle1 wrote: »
