Ok, after spending all morning feeling guilty about ordering 3 (yes I ordered yet another for multiple choice) Barbour jackets, I have seen sense. 2 of them have been cancelled. It was too late to cancel the third one, but I plan on returning it and not even opening it.

So, to celebrate I just drove (yes drove, too lazy to walk) to the Sainsburys up the road and bought myself a box of mini Toblerones. Amen to that!

I'm a total nightmare and need to get myself under control, fast!

Dinner was a very boring meal of fish fingers, new potatoes and peas. We usually prefer to eat something more substantial and exciting but I got bored half way through this weeks meal plan and decided that fish fingers one night and chicken nuggets another would have to make do. I get a bit fed up of trying to think of what to eat every night when I sit and do my list.

Next weeks meal plan is thankfully looking a bit more interesting.

We've booked to go and see Skyfall on Sat night with some friends. DH has used his odeon points, so our tickets were completely free of charge! Shame the babysitter isn't free.

I know edinburgher, I'm a total nightmare. I shall try really hard not to sneak a peak when the "unwanted" jacket arrives. It was the least liked one anyway, so should be easy to return it.

Speaking of giraffes..... My business partner is in south Africa at the moment, the trip went well so it looks as though I'm going t have to go down there for a few days at some point in the new year. Giraffes are my favourite animal so I'm being promised a trip to a safari park to see them if I agree to go down there and do some training..... Tbh, I'm happy to just see them at the local safari park down the road but I guess it sweetens the deal a little bit. I hate long flights and avoid the longhaul trips wherever possible.

I love how you describe travelling to South Africa as 'going to have to go down there for a few days at some point in the New Year' as if it's just along the road:rotfl:

Mrs Nattypants - I decided that one Barbour jacket was quite enough....!

I was feeling quiet bad/embarrassed about having the "spendiest" thread but I have noticed something strange....... I'm subscribed to tonnes of diaries on here and most people seem to be receiving very regular and sizeable amounts of money from top cash back and quidco.

Now, don't you have to spend money in order to receive some cash back? So, I'm wondering whether other people are also doing a little bit of spending but perhaps don't mention it..... Hmmmmmm, I wonder!
