V. V. V. quick logging in to do a reply as I really do have to get into this meeting.
Yes, I thought I could fund the conversion via the saving on eb*y wrapping, thanks to the lovely people providing tips on my diary. GG it was your newspaper tip that clinched it.
(By the way GG your cheeky replies to my posts, are getting somewhat cheekier I'll have you know)
Okay, just for you two, my half a plan is something that I have not mentioned previously - I actually have a small house to sell - well half a house as half belongs to my brother. The reason I don't make mention of this is my mum died not so long ago which devastated me and I have put this and her house to the back of my mind...okay best stop typing now as I may cry...
Okay, into meeting I go so I can defer any action points;)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D
C'mon nattypants:cool:0 -
Have a dodgy hug Nats :grouphug:.
BTW, I said 1/2 a mind to do it, I wasn't suggesting you had 1/2 a brain.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Oh Natty, have some dodgy hugs from me too hun, xxxx0

ALL MSE has just been thrown to the wall. I've order two jackets so that I can decide which one I like best. In a way, I hope I really like neither of them and then I can feel good about my money saving again!
I've resigned myself to the fact that there will be no OP at all in Nov as I need to pay for the following:
*House Insurance
*Car Tax
*Car service
*car insurance
*Anniversary trip away
*Accountants bill/self assessment (I would do it myself usually but I have a complicated element this year that I prefer the accountant to handle)
(new Barbour jacket for Winter)0 -
Ah lulabelle - you have the spendiest MFW diary on the board
I'm sure you'll regroup and get back to the task in hand soon!0 -
I think you're right Edinburgher..... I'm easily lead astray... not mentioned any names "Natty!!".
Sadly most of the spends are unavoidable - pesky insurances and taxes etc, Meh!
I'm confident that I'll meet my 2012 OP target though. It started the year as a £15k target and then around March time I took back £11k from my OP's to buy a new car. So, I increased my OP target to £26k to make up for the new car....... so, I'm pretty pleased really......
Am I sounding convincing? I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not an unstoppable spending addict........
In other spending news......
I've just ordered the rest of DS2's Christmas presents. Via Boots using the 3 for 2 deals, also got 10% discount via Quidco and small cashback. Rather than giving him everything, he will get the "free" items for his birthday, not until August, but you can't beat planning ahead and I don't want him to be spoilt by receiving everything for Christmas.
DS1 is just about done, need to organise his scooter and then he can also be highlighted in yellow on my Christmas spreadsheet.0 -
A justifier says what? :rotfl:
Your Christmas shopping sounds very well organised! I'll need to get cracking next week (this week is out as Mrs E has asked for some spendy concert tickets for her present, so I want to avoid using the cashback credit card until I buy those).
Can't believe you're already buying gifts for next year, that is fantastic0 -

Does this give me a reprieve from having the spendiest diary? :rotfl:0 -

Maybe, if your reprieve gets me a reprieve from wanting crisps to go with my lunch? This is getting complex0 -
Crisps with lunch is perfectly acceptable and I'd be disappointed if you went without......0
