I'm pleased to report that I'm back on the straight and narrow and have not made any more purchases since Saturday. I'm also pleased to report that I really do love these new boots and have worn them every day!0

Actually, scrub that - I did spend. Our Microwave finally broke at the weekend - it's been dodgy for around 5 years but we'd agreed that we wouldn't replace until it was totally broken.... the power button finally stopped working after 16 years!!!
So, we got a new one - we were fairly sensible, went for a newer version of the one we had, £129.
Sorry, but I can't live without a Microwave!!! Just so handy to have.....0 -
Well, the time has come.....

Yup - it's the mornings where we need it.... it's warmed up nicely by the afternoon thank goodness.
Looks like nice weather for the next few days, so it will be getting turned off again!!0 -
Meh! Just back from a very early appointment at the dentist. I needed to have a filling replaced as it started giving me some grief... wanted to get it sorted before I'm away next week.
£50.50 later, I have a new filling but half of my face is numb. I can't have my morning coffee yet or else it will just dribble everywhere and I can't talk properly - much to DH's amusement.
Hope it wears off soon, I'm meant to be having coffee with a neighbour in an hour and I've already postponed it a few times.
Filled the car up earlier, £65 - another Meh!0 -

I have been tempted the last couple of days but have used warmer dressing gown. The house is mostly warmer due to replaced windows and doors this year but our playroom (garage conversion) gets quite cold! I am determined to hold out a bit longer.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
