Oh no, that would be a shame if you weren't able to do the LC
I also am feeling skint, I very nearly bought a 'housie' magazine today, however managed to stop myself at the last minute, as real homes / beautiful homes / homes and gardens etc just make me want to get work done NOW when I can only afford any form of upgrade/decoration in little bitty stages - will still go for F&B in the hall and porch though!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend....I was at my friends earlier and we we spent time on the mulberry website looking at bags - so thinking of youFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Can't go wrong with F&B Natty.

I must admit, it's definitely worth the extra - although thankfully the hall and porch are fairly smallFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Yup, F&B paint is really fab. We've had a few bumps and scuffs against a few of the walls and the paint is still looking fab. Last time we painted the hallway using duluxe and it was marked all over the place within weeks of being done. F&B definitely seems much more hardwearing.
Looking at the mulberry website - that's a dangerous move Natty. That's where all of my bag "problems" started, lol! I suppose there are worse addictions health wise, but a mulberry addiction is not good for the bank balance.
However, I can't resist asking, did you see any that you liked?
Thankfully I'm not too crazy about any of the new bags and the prices have sky rocketed recently, so I find it easier to not pay too much attention.
I've got an M bag on eBay at the moment. And, I'm considering selling one of my Balenciagas to a bag friend, but I'm still having wobbles at the moment and sure I can let it go. However, if I do, I'm going to chuck the money straight at the mortgage and be good.
Roll on payday, I have lots of things that I need to buy! Ds2 needs new jeans, all of his are above his ankles... My creams and make up are all running on empty, I'm trying to make them last as long as possible, but I'm literally scraping the barrel now and will need to buy new stuff.
I've decided to wait until I know about the LC before I commit to new bedding. If the LC is a goer, then I'm not collecting the bedding from next - it can just get returned to the warehouse and refunded. If the LC is not feasible then I shall console myself with the new bedding.
LC is going to be expensive if it goes ahead, so I need to really (no, I mean really really) be good and save as much as possible for it. It will most likely extend our "stuck with mortgage" for another year.0 -
Would you have the LC as your room? Always thought the idea of having a attic bedroom really lovely.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

We did think about it as I agree, it would be fantastic, but the plan would be to have two big double bedrooms plus a bathroom up there - and then both of the children would go up there and have the top floor to themselves.
We would then knock our bedroom through with DS2's bedroom and have one side of the house just as our bedroom - it would be a decent size with a nice ensuite which would be big enough to have a nice bath double shower etc etc. Then there would also be a double guest bedroom and my office.....
The builders have said that our plans (which are in our heads at the moment and sketched on to some paper) are do able size wise etc etc but it depends on what the structural engineer says about the roof. The cost of what will need to be done to the roof (for support) will determine whether it's going to be cost effective or not, as apparently it could mean taking the whole roof off!!!0 -
Of course, if it's not possible, then I'll have some new bed sheets to look forward to instead!!0

Morning, LC sounds like a big job but ending up with two doubles and a bathroom would be amazing. I hope the price works out ok. I also hope the prices come in soon, you must be excited and nervous at the same time.
