Thanks for your well wishes.... I had some night nurse and had a wonderful sleep. A nice lazy day is in order.
Pavlovs - thanks for the tip re hotels.com - I shall most definitely check that one out.
Tilly - yes, I'm so happy that the trip is postponed, I really don't like to leave them during school hols, I feel guilty enough as it is.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!0 -
Good:
Hoovered the house
Did some washing
Cleaned the kitchen
Found the receipt to a broken hand mixer and returned it to Mr T
Bagged some change up for DS1 - took it to Coinstar at Mr T
Took soup from the freezer for dinner tonight
Moved some money in to savings
Could be getting a bonus in the next few weeks as the year ended well
Bad:
Used the money from the broken mixer and bagged up change for DS1 to purchase a couple of Skylander characters - he had some christmas money which I spent on magic beans so it was my way of reimbursing him. He put £2 towards it from his money box and I paid the remaining £3.
Bought a 4 pack of Wispa bars for £1
Bought a big bag of fruit pastilles for £1
Bought a tear and share Cinnamon thing with the cream cheese icing on it - £3, brought it home and ate some of it with a nice coffee whilst chatting with DH about holidays
Will probably book some flights in the next few weeks for a family holiday if the bonus is confirmed0 -
Your bad things aren't that bad.....my son is begging me for a takeaway this evening, so I am trying to work out the healthiest option from either pizza, chippy, Indian, Chinese, Bking or Maccy-ds:cool:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Takeaway, nom nom - my fave isn't on your list and that is Thai food - LOVE IT!!!!
Think I'd give Bking and MCD's a swerve and perhaps chose Indian or Chinese.......
Pizza is probably the worse....0 -
It's curry - Thai place is a wee bit further away (although not ordered yet, so may opt for Thai....)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

If I remember correctly from WW the best option was chow mein - good thing I love it
I'm sure curry will be fine.... you need a treat sometimes

Enjoy the takeaway Natty, I'm sure whatever you chose will be lovely......
Soup from freezer was yum, but very envious of your takeaway. I'll have a wispy bar later to compensate.
Off for a family game of "dragon chase" now......0 -
Dragon chase ended quickly and abruptly when ds2 spilt a bowl of cocoa pops over himself and the kitchen floor......0
-
Not too sure what dragon chase is....but oh dear for coco pops fatality;)
The curry was okay, but my resolve not to further snack on chocolate this evening has been tough going. I had a cup of caramel coffee to take the edge of and it seems to have worked:TFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

My cold has given me an appetite for filthy food so DH is off out to get me a special fried rice and curry sauce..... Gross disgusting stuff but I need some!0
