Paypal access card - anyone getting one?

I've been invited to apply for the Access card today but there's a few points I want clarifying but can't find a contact for the relevant department, so I've come here instead.
If I use my card to purchase something online there is no cost?
If I use my card to purchase something in a shop there is no cost?
Is there a minimum spend?
The invite also says I have to upgrade my account, did anyone else have to do this? I would be upgrading my account to a Premier Account. Is there any cost associated with this account? I know that it's free to upgrade, but it seems to be more aimed at Ebay sellers and I won't be using it for that purpose.
Thank you in advance for your replies

You should find all the answers here: https://www.paypal-marketing.co.uk/accesscard/
There are no fees for transactions, it's a debit card so as long as you have the funds you can spend them. You do pay to withdraw cash at an ATM though.
I have turned off paper statements which cost £5 and there is no annual fee.0 -

Thought I'd update this thread as I've had my first problem that is apparently on and off system wide.
Paid online with card and payment was rejected which was odd as funds were available. I then got the email saying payment had been taken.
I queried with the company I was paying who said they definitely hadn't received payment, then I called the card team and was told it was an error and that the funds would be refunded to my account, which it was about 10 minutes after I called.
So if you get a rejected payment, it's worth checking that it doesn't get taken..0 -
Any news on general access for everybody for this card..0

Given they haven't ironed out the payment problems I doubt it.dazzaofdagenham wrote: »Any news on general access for everybody for this card..
The problem seems to be with communication on paying. Sometimes the link between the card and Paypal to confirm funds in the account aren't quick enough resulting in a failed payment, yet the amount is debited from the account. This has been ongoing for several months now..0 -
I have been using my card since it came out on a daily basis at the Post Office and other times making purchases online. I haven't had to top up the card as l use it via the funds in my pay pal account.
The only issues l have found is that on the odd occasion the card is declined, however the payment has still been taken. I used to phone them and it was sorted within 2-3 hours however if you don't it is refunded within 24-48 hours.
The customer service is top class, UK based. Many other companies should learn from them.0
