Am so glad I came across this post, I've been wanting to get one of these cards but just didn't know how, have just applied & it says mine will be with me by 15th

Do you get charged for using the card or actually having it ?0 -

Had the same thing, a bit annoying as it would have come in handy.0 -
got sent my access card about 5 months ago having previously had the top up card. It Is fab - use it everywhere - although it can't seem to be used on the pay on the forecourt petrol pumps but is accepted in the shop. Have my Email on my |Iphone and everytime I make a payment - it immediately pings to let me know. Only thing is at moment they have a technical problem they cant seem to sort out! Has happened about half a dozen times now where my first transaction is declined and cashier gives me declined receipt but my email shows payment gone through. So you have to pay again and then ring them up to get the first payment credited back, which isn't great as if you don't have alot in the account you may not be able to afford the second payment! also recommend linking Paypal to your phone and you can text bal and immediately get the balance0

No it's free but you get charged for cash withdrawals and if you lose it I think it's £5 to replace it.
I applied for one in the end and I use it to send my Ebay parcels from the P.O. - I love it!0 -
Paypal accesss card have just announced with immeidate affect
"Cards cannot be used to complete cash advance transactions"
Does that mean cash withdrwals have stopped - or something else?. Was going to empty it today.0 -
Not seen that, but does it mean store cash back, where essentially the 'purchase' is just cash, I know it's a bank statement, but surely if they meant withdrawals they'd say so?Paypal accesss card have just announced with immeidate affect

Possibly - just been to ATM and emptied my account fine.
Cash machine fees etc still stated on site.
I got an email. It just says a new rule as been added - all the rest stay the same:-
4.9 Your Card cannot be used to complete cash advance transactions
Strange - maybe some people have found a way to get round the £2 per ATM transaction withdrawl fee - like you say, for example at supermarkets.0 -
Does anyone have any idea when these cards will be available to everyone, as opposed to invitation only?
Thanks0
