    Brilliant news!!! So much of your story rang a bell with me - although I didn't have the violence - but I did have the defending myself, and continuing appeals time and time again. He didn't go to court for the last time, but gave up 4 days before... the end of such a stressful 12 months, so I totally understand where you are.

    I really hope Social care keep a close eye on him and cycle gets broken for his new partner - but that's her journey to travel and not your responsibilty.
