Just read this thread, and wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you today.
Also - I'm sorry but I AM judging you - I hope that, as another Mum, if I'm ever unfortunate enough to be in the same position as you, that I can deal with it as strongly and bravely, not to mention with as much dignity, as you have.
Hopefully by the time you come back and read this, you'll be able to relax and start to enjoy the future that lies ahead of you.

Well I went to court and to cut a relatively long story short... we were supposed to be there for a 3 hours and we were in and out in half an hour:eek:

Ex hadnt done anything Judge wanted... Judge was obviously rattled by this.... he has had 3 years to sort himself out

Barrister had 'nothing' constructive to say just kept apologising for things that hadnt been done and coming up with lame excuses as to why they hadnt....

Ex withdrew case there and then in front of us all :T

Judge accepted this... well come on this is a serial domestic violence perpertraitor (sp) he wasnt going to let me win.. it had to end on his terms with him in control....

So the new order is.. he can send her a birthday card if he wants to but there is to be no direct contact and the judge granted a section 91 (14) which prevents him bringing it back to court without the courts permission.. and this will last for a minimum of 2 years...

So a happy outcome here... We can now get on with our lives... I doubt he will come back in two years he has a lot of work to do to convince the court he has changed....

Oh and the new GF is definately pregnant... CAFCAS said they have a duty of care to release documents to SS and they will be monitored.... so hopefully we can stop him doing this for a 3rd time....
