Wow Alice £4,200 is amazing. And if you pay it off by end of 2021 then it'll be 10 years since you first started this thread. What a journey you've been on.2

I made a jelly this week. It all got a bit tough so I made a jelly. It’s really funny how when I do this it makes me feel in control. We hadn’t done what I call a proper shop last week so the cupboards weren’t over flowing with food but we haven’t starved and to be honest we wouldn’t for the foreseeable future either. We’ve worked through the freezer as well. Considering we meal plan I can’t believe the food we do actually have.Yesterday we did a food shop, and what I call bits and pieces shop. Picked up new mat, paint for the gate and new kitchen utensils that we needed. Also did a bit of clothes shopping, new dress and sandals for me, DS3 and OH has new T-shirt’s and shorts. DS also had football boots.....although school shoes would of been more appropriate 😃. Still feel guilty when buying anything for myself. I was contemplating taking the shoes back but OH has persuaded me to keep them. I do need them.
I’ve just updated spending diary/budget. We are now spending a lot on our broadband as we are out of contract so need to sort that out.Spends last week, food £125, clothes & footie boots £165, bits and pieces £45, petrol £40, birthday present £20. We are also going away for a few days in a couple of weeks, cost is £90 plus food, petrol.Have a good Sunday.

Happy New Year to you all. Well I’m still here, still plodding on. We still haven’t quite made it to become debt free. There has been a drop in income and a few big expenses come up, but I’ve put my positive pants back on and here we go again. We are currently looking at the end of February, 2021!I’ve updated my spending diary...well started again from 1st January. First 3 weeks of the year food spends £110 average a week. We are all at home 24/7, I’m working from home, DS3 home schooling (or attempting too, now having reduced hours on the game station as it was getting out of hand), DS2 just lost his job, OH on furlough now for Jan/Feb.We have some snow so off out to get some exercise, which is desperately needed.
