We’ve had a slow start this morning. we’ve just sorted out the junk draw, cleaned out the washing machine draw and I’ve downloaded all the photos off my phone. So a little productive.
I’m off to clean the bathroom, and pot some seeds.Trying to keep busy and not eat. Haha.

How did it get to Friday already?? The last few days have been a bit better. I’m learning to juggle work, home schooling and pegging out. I’m still going from calm to fear of the unknown in a split second. On a positive side we have sat down to eat altogether in the evening, which with one thing and another doesn’t happen very often in the week. This weeks spends on shopping were £93 this did include everything like cat litter, alcohol, all toiletries inc toilet roll (just the one pack) and stationery. OH went shopping on his way from work. But I have had to order some ink cartridges for DS3 school work.
OH is still at work but £25 petrol should do him for the week.
I did the meter readings this morning. We are £43 in debit. Normally by now the heating would be off completely but we have had it on more not less recently.Take care everyone.

It’s official I have piled on the pounds. I tried my work trousers on this morning.....just to see. Hahaha I couldn’t even do them up uncomfortably let alone comfortably. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry! Anyway a cup of tea and three biscuits has made me feel better. :-)
I forget to mention I’ve tried freezing some milk. Thanks for the tip. It does just taste the same. Although I could only get skimmed milk the other week and that lasted a little longer. The kids said it was too runny.Home schooling is still not going well. We are doing other things like planting seeds in pop bottles, bit of baking (cookies lasted all of one day but heyho) and other household chores. Well sort of chores. We sorted the shed, the cupboard under the stairs that sort of thing. I am working from home so these things were done in my lunch hour of course.
On the money front it is really strange to still see money in the account. Although spends on food are more, we haven’t spent the £20 odd on school lunches or any social activities, or even chippy tea. Plus only paying one lot of petrol is helping too. I’m going to try and get the emergency fund back to a reasonable level.
Take care everyone.

Isn’t it a strange feeling to have nothing to report as such. We are keeping safe and well. I went shopping this morning. I think I must have timed it just right as only queued for 30mins or so. Everyone was very calm and kept out of each other’s way in the store. Now the cupboards/fridge/freezer are full for another week. Total spent £98 but that did include £18 on alcohol. Also picked up 2 Easter eggs for the kids and got petrol £30.
On the home front, I’ve got a couple of loads of washing on the line. DSs have done their bedrooms, OH has made come cup cakes and a banana loaf....you’ve got to haven’t you.😉
im going to clean the bathroom/shower shortly. We’ve done some sorting out recently so can’t wait for the tip and the charity shop to open. I’ve got some bits I can put on market place when we can get out and about too.Take care everyone and stay safe.XxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Another very frightening week. We are safe but approaching everything with caution.
I went to the supermarket yesterday. I noticed the prices have crept up. Not an excuse for spending £95 though. Treated ourselves to steak for tea ,and another bottle of gin and some beer for OH. Also picked up 5 chocolate eggs. The packaging was damaged and they were mega reduced. They worked out at 24p per chocolate bar plus the bonus of an egg. Anyway they were just a tiny drop on the ocean of the total bill.I really could do with some proper exercise. :-( I’m just being so lazy.
I’ve been very busy around the house. Yesterday we sorted the personal paperwork. There was loads, stuff from way before this journey. Also sorted and tidied my stash of greeting cards, wrapping paper and the presents bags I insist on reusing.Feeling much better for doing this.
Right off to write some lists of stuff we can do..... not all to do today, so will be bigger jobs and more costly than others but will hopefully keep me motivated.Take care.
