  • No footie today, now that the season has finished.......what will we do with ourselves.:D

Didn't go shopping until yesterday. Went to @ldi, spent £65  plus some bits for the oldies. We've got family coming for dinner tomorrow.

DS2 is eating like a horse this week, he's had double the amount of dinner money and snacks from home. Just can't fill him up.

Need to get DS3 some school shorts. I could cut his trousers down but they still fit and the knees are still in good condition.

I must update spending diary. The date we pay our council has changed to 18th of the month and I don't like it. I'm sure I could change it so it comes out at the beginning of the month.

Hope everybody has a good day.

    Xx

  • Great day for pegging out. Two loads on the line and another two to go out.:D

Have done meter readings. We are -£42.66. In 2 weeks we have used £32 worth of gas and electricity.

Yesterday was a little spend day. We had to get a few bits for a DIY project we decided to do, £12. Also got DS3 school shorts £9.

We've got family coming for dinner so will prep everything this morning. Then give the cars a clean.

  • Sunday afternoon was lovely with the family.

Yesterday was NSD4. Today had a little spend when we went to the pub at lunchtime. Keeping up appearances and all that.

Mobile bill due tomorrow and council tax due on Thursday.

  • Why is it that the harder you try and save money, budget, keeping spending to a minimum.......the more you end up spending.:o. Maybe it's just me.:D

Had quite a good week, upto 6 NSD. Friday night went shopping spent £81, that includes all toiletries and cleaning stuff.

Yesterday morning had my haircut £25. Then we went to a local history museum with friends, total spends inc tea/coffee as we took a picnic was £45.

Also had to get petrol £35. Today DS is going to get his haircut £10.

How easy is it to spend nearly £200.

This morning I've pegged out, going to work in the garden today, Sunday roast later.:)

All sounds very good to me! 6 nsds is amazing! And you've got to shop and get haircuts and and have a day out occasionally. Could have been a lot worse. I love a Sunday roast too.
When is ds1 home for the summer? They break up earlier than us don't they?
