  • Well I haven't been counting NSD's this month but yesterday was one.:) Tuesday spent £14 on bits for a picnic and toiletries. Forgot to get hairstuff so now look like i've put my finger in a plug socket.:rotfl:

Had a busy few days, all events were FOC apart from paying for parking yesterday. At home today doing jobs in the garden.

OH's payday....phew! Do you know we still haven't sorted the cracked windscreen out.:( The car has its MOT soon so will have to be done for then.

We're off to a St George's day event on Saturday, will take £10 to spend (just in case) and a picnic.

This holiday has just flown by!

  • We had a lovely day on Saturday. Weather was fantastic, great afternoon at the St Georges Day celebrations.....then we went to a fair (DS had a go on 2 rides....£3 each!!), then went for food with friends. Spent £45 at the pub on meal and drinks. So not quite as I had planned, and the £10 budget didn't go very far.

Sunday OH took DS3 to a bday party. I went with my friend to C0stc0 and Icel@nd, spent £80 in total. Freezer well and truly stocked up.:)

Also coloured my hair, 2 boxes of hair colour on offer a sburys, £5 each.

Then we did loads of jobs around the house and garden in the afternoon, and back to work yesterday.

On the money front. we've had a letter from the bank today to say we didn't have enough money to pay one of the mobile bills. Now I thought I had checked that but obviously didn't check thoroughly enough. They haven't said there is a fee.....yet. I also need to speak to EE and arrange payment.:(

Yesterday and today were NSD's, every little bit helps as they say.

We've got a few Saturday evenings out coming up. Thinking I will budget £25 per night. They are mainly football presentations and a 50th bday party. But still need to pay for tickets for presentations!

Freezing tonight but heating is staying off. :(

  • Hi brizzle, thanks for the post.:)

Friday....at last. Tonight I've been to @ldi, sburys and cheapy shop. Hard work spreading the shopping over three shops.lol. Total spends £61. Includes cleaning stuff and toiletries.

Put £30 petrol in car 1 and £15 in car 2. Works lottery paid today. Met OH at footie training, quick drink in the club house, £4.00 spend. Then 2 portions of chips for tea/supper.......not very MSE or healthy. Very lazy considering how full the freezer is, and I'd just been shopping.

Tomorrow we are at our local town football match, where DS is mascot. No spends to get in but possible half time snacks, but I will take drinks and snacks with us. Then DS is off to a birthday party.

Today I've paid £260 towards DS3s expenses, but totally forgot to pay debts. Will do them in a minute.

I've volunteered myself to help arrange the school fete and a charity day at the sports club. I must be mad!!

I've washed one load, another load in. Hope it's pegging out weather tomorrow. Must do meter readings as well!

All go in Poorland! Alice, you must have amazing energy. Do you do the sports too or just act as taxi for everyone? I'm guessing the former as you do so much!
Sorry if you said but what are ds3's expenses? Did you mean ds1? Must be getting close to his summer trip back to the UK.

  • Pegging out, pegging out, pegging out. Hope everybody has got this lovely breezy sunny day. Absolutely ideal for pegging out.......as you can see I'm a tad excited about. I did peg out yesterday, but I've got the bedding, throws, cushion covers out today. :T

Have done meter readings just need to log on and put them in. Bit slow at getting this done. Lol

Having a day at home today. Bit of spring cleaning, DS3 playing out, DS 2 still in bed.

Had a great time yesterday at the football match. Then OH took DS to the party whilst I went to get some picnic stuff. We are off den building tomorrow at our local nature reserve. Hope the weather is kind to us.

Today has got to be a NSD.:D

  • It's been raining but is drying up now. Not looking forward to going den building in the middle of a damp soggy nature reserve. Plus DS3 isn't feeling 100% this morning. He's woke up with a headache and a bit of a temperature. Will see how it goes.

Yesterday wasn't the NSD I'd planned. We went to the club last night, but only bought one drink each for me and OH, and took DS3s with us. It wasn't a late night.

Have entered the meter readings, we are - £10.42. We only made a payment on the 28th so I assume/hoping things will level out over the summer.
