Thanks amber, feel your pain with the petrol, and your hair. I can only have either long (and wild) or short pixie look, can't do I between with my crazy hair.:rotfl:

  • Aaarrrggg we don't go back to school until Wednesday:eek: I thought it was Tuesday doh!!

Anyway have sorted out childcare, and it's free.:)

Feeling a bit frustrated at the moment. Haven't been able to post on here as frequent at I'd like, feel a little bit frustrated with the DMP although we are getting there.

Have done meter readings and we are £88 in credit. Last 2 weeks we used £30s worth. Quite a lot I thought.

Last month we spent £275 on petrol, £312 on food/cleaning stuff/toiletries. Haven't worked out childcare yet.

Healthy eating going ok, no alcohol either...gulp.

Last free weekend before the football season.

Going to have a good tidy up this morning, DS3 chilling out, DS2 has got a little job to do today and tomorrow so extra money for him.

  • Today was a NSD, number 1.

Tonight I need to put dinner money for DS2. Have got his bus money ready too. Back to lunch box for DS3.:o

Extra miles to drop DS3 off tomorrow but not having to pay for childcare certainly helps.

Managed to send DS1 £50, nothing into the savings last Thursday pay day.

This week the kids have got an event whether it be sports club or social every night. Meal plan out of the window.

OH needs a haircut again, I'm sure he only went 4 weeks ago!!

  • Made a jelly tonight, when the going gets tough I make a jelly. Feeling OK but hot and bothered. :o

Last day of the summer holiday for DS3. Have already done his packed lunch.

Had to call into supermarket tonight, couldn't find DS3s PE tops anywhere, remember buying them but haven't a clue what happened to them after that.....doh! Anyway spent £16, got cleaning stuff and food bits as well as DS3s tops.......and a bday card.

Tomorrow night I'm going to go through the budget/spending diary.

  • We've received a letter confirming our smallest debt is paid off. That felt good opening that letter.:)

Thursday managed to get 3 loads dried on the line, another 3 loads out today.:)

Kids back to school now so all back to 'normal'.

I was supposed to update spending diary/budget on wed night but I went to an exercise class.....I know get me. :D It was like a disco, glo sticks and all. I absolutely loved it, bit expensive £6 but for that hour I just forgot about everything. Sounds very dramatic I know but it's been ages since I actually did something. Have booked again for this week...eek.:D

Between the exercise class and the healthy eating I've been doing I'm feeling much better, and have had lots more energy......once I'd recovered from Wednesday night.:rotfl:

Yesterday got petrol £40, spent £15 in £shop, £58 in supermarket. Took out £40 cash for DSs bus fair and drinks last night. Sent DS £50.

Up to 3 NSDs. Today need to get a bday present, max spend £20.

Really need to cut out the gunge in our house as only me and DH eat it, but we love to eat it, just wish fruit tasted like chocolate.

Why is it that the week before payday you think that u are doing fine and have a bit of money in your bank account and it should last you, and then all h*ll breaks loose and you wonder how u are going to manage. Happens every month to me, think right I have paid for everything, got food money i'll be fine then, then aargh... oh well never mind.

Brilliant news Alice on paying off your first debt, now onto the next. Keep up the good work.xx
