Although I did have a mini meltdown in the car on the way home tonight. Not a 'woe is me' meltdown more of a 'frustrated' meltdown. Anyway it was all over by the time I got home. :o

Kids back at school today so everything back to normal. :)

Thanks DF(w), I don't know why I felt that way yesterday. I am just so desperate to get all this debt paid off so think it was just frustration.......and I was tired. :-(

Today I have updated spending diary, everything just plodding along.

  • lol My hubby gave up putting the heating on as i've got so used to not having it that I start having hot flushes within an hour of it being on :rotfl: (and I would go switching it off like you) There's only been possibly a dozen days since November that it's been on all morning, afternoon and some of the evening :T Much better than last year! We've only had it on 18 degrees tops too so it's either much warmer than last year or I've become hardened to the cold :rotfl:.

You've just reminded me I needed to buy flea stuff too and I forgot whilst at the pet shop :wall:

We did much better last winter and it was certainly left off a lot more than this winter and you are right you do get used to it.....think I'll have to get OH to toughen up...hehehe.

Don't mention fleas, just had to change the stuff we use as the fleas had come resistant little creatures!!!!

I'm gutted.....I have a little hole in the sole of my shoe. It's a shame as they go with a particular outfit. lol.

Tea is jackets with cheese and beans and then I have a hot and steamy date with the ironing board, can't wait.

  • Few more spends today, put £30 petrol in car, spent £9 at football, £61 in @ldi, £23 in sburys and £8 at chemist. Then as it was so late when we got back we had pizzas delivered, that was £20. Which is crazy when you think how we've just spent on food.

I have take the pizzas out of the entertainment pot. So that is now empty for this month.

5NSDs so far this month. Must read the meters tomorrow.

£67 left in bank, DDs of £21 and £20 due this week.......roll on Thursday when OH gets paid.

Managed to peg a few loads out today, on the airers now finishing off.

Nothing planned tomorrow, going to catch up on house work, do some batch cooking, and some family time. :)

Two loads of washing on the line, although not sure how much they'll dry as it's freezing out there.:o

Hope everybody has a good day.:)

gillst - what did you think? Always worth a watch. :)

    Xx

Hi Alice, hope you are having a good weekend. I finally managed to watch the show and am looking forward to further episodes. I wished however that they had given further information on how the couple who moved to Australia got out of the debt they were in, rather than just say that they were referred to debt counselling etc.
