Thank you gillst, happy new year to you too. You know I'm still poorly, can't believe it it's so frustrating. I did spend £3.20 at the chemist yesterday on painkillers and cough medicine (not that it helped:().
Also put £50 petrol in the car, OH has taken DS1 to the airport. I was going to go but DS3 not very well and it makes me really sad to see him go even though I know he'll be back in the summer. So we said 'au revoir' on the doorstep here.
So yesterday was a LSD but we will need to get some food in, need usual milk, bread, cereal, fruit etc. Meal plan back in action next week......phew back to normal.
OH has had a letter from the pru to say our life insurance will be cancelled from June, no real explanation. It is something we needed to look at anyway, will put it on the list of things to do.
Must confess we've had the heating on a bit as everybody has felt poorly. Not ideal put we're going to have to put the clothes airers up today as it's not pegging out weather.

Christmas left our house this morning, tree down, cards ready to be made into present tags (even if a family member did make a sarky remark!), living room cleaned everywhere looking fresh. Mind you I feel worn out now!
Xx
Happy New Year.
Saw this and it made me :rotfl:
Your relative would not have been happy with our tags this year then - we could not find the old Xmas cards which we had cut up so used white labels (from my time on the Royal Mail panel) and drew our own pictures and wrote in silver pen - they actually looked really good:T0 -
Poor you Alice, hope youre feeling better soon. Never mind the heating, if youre feeling under the weather probably for the best and you can get the washing dry aswell xxMummytogirls x0

Me too, I thought our figure was high enough but they we're in a crazy situation. All came good in the end.:)
OH went to the supermarket this afternoon......under duress mind.:(. I know he was tired after the early start but even so. Anyway he spent £45 but that did include a DVD for a birthday present, so not too bad.
Have checked pots, 20p pot - £12.20, £2 pot - £6, a good start.

I have done the meter readings this morning, we are £70.68 in credit, but that does mean we've used £55 in 10 days.
Still feel really rough but have pegged out this morning so that's cheered me up a bit.:rotfl:
Off to do our DMP review.

DMP review done, quite painless doing it on line. Although I have tweaked the figures a bit, so we carry on paying the same as they wanted us to pay less, and that pushed our DFD even further back. September 2018 seems far enough away as it is!!
