I'm a bit behind but I'm here. This week has been good considering we've had electricians in ripping up floorboards, drilling through walls etc. They won't be back now until at least November 23rd... though I hope they come a bit later than that because Thomas has an operation on the 22nd and it won't be fair on him to have all the drilling and banging going on whilst he's recovering.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Exam was ok yesterday, I've definately done enough to pass, no idea how I have done though.
Mum and dad are coming to stay next weekend with my niece, all rooms apart from one room are presentable, that one just has boxes we haven't unpacked yet. I am a bit nervous though, my niece is 4 and it is the first time she has been brought up to see us, in this house or the last one. This house is more child friendly than the last one but I have no idea how she will find it. All the walls/carpets etc are light coloured so I will have to try and keep an eye on her, can you tell we aren't used to having children come?
I had loads of good intentions for today but am really tired, DH is teaching later for an hour so I may use that time to see what I can get done.
