In my HHC I have sorted and swept the porch so that we can get in and out of the door without trampling over the contetns of the toy and shoe boxes...until someone needs a pair of shoes that I've not left out at least. Thanks for joining me LW, how did you get on?

Another HHC 1.30-2 to sort out the gubbins at the bottom of the stairs and put the rubbish out. Anyone?

    Lamewolf - can I make a suggestion

Could you not BUILD a pro-forma for the e mail so that, when you get them, they ARE in a format you can copy & paste (or cut and paste?) - maybe using an appropriately-sized chunk of spreadsheet?

I did that already - he ignores it, probably because he sends the emails from work.

Then (deep breath) TELL the 'gentleman' concerned that, in order for you to produce/process the data as promptly as possible after he deigns to send it, he needs to use THAT format. Or you will return his e mail for re-formatting?

That's the rub - I'm too much of a wimp to insist.:( However, Mr LW sent a reply on one of the emails last night, explaining that I'm particularly poorly right now, and that we need the stuff in a timely fashion in future. We'll see what reply we get, and then press for it all to at least be on Excel, not just random "stuff" for me to decypher in the body of an email.

A little more work now but a HUGE timesaver (and stress avoider) in the long run. HTH and hope you don't mind. (Ideas and IT is what I am known for at work;))

'Course I don't mind.;) Tbh, I'm looking to get rid of the task, because it's becoming a monkey on my back - I may send a message to the next AGM (January) that I need a volunteer to take it off me. (Not that I hold out hope of anyone coming forward)

Good, thanks. Bedroom now all sparkly and tidy, grubby duster put in the bag of dusters for washing, and I've also sorted a purse of money to use at the craft fair in Central MK this weekend - Mr LW is going to be told that when that's gone, we stop buying.;):D

Ooh craft fair in MK... is it in Middleton hall? OH is always disappointed when we go there and there isn't a load of stalls giving away free food :rotfl:

Two more hotspots cleared, but made another in the process. Will clear it when DS2 wakes up as it's on DS1's bed - so it's only a temporary hotspot!

Sitting for 15 mins then another HHC in the conservatory. How did you get on Valli?

Yep - here's the info we received via email:

Living Heritage invite you to the indoor Craft Experience at the Middleton Hall in thecentre:mk,
Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday November 10th/11th/12th/13th

The Fair will consist of new ideas, with a many different Crafts on display. The new look Craft Show will also have Demonstrations throughout the day, from Patchwork and Silk Painting, to Pyrography and Walking Stick Making. Always popular with the visitors is the Make & Take Section, where enthusiastic children can have a go at various different skills

I've started putting the beer scores onto the spreadsheet, but need to take a time-out from it, as it's sending me cross-eyed and I'm likely to start making errors.:(

Debating whether to do HHYoga or start prepping apples for blackberry'n'apple crumble.

ETA: Just had my afternoon phone call from Mr LW, which took up a few minutes; BM will finish in 16 mins, so I'm going to grab a coffee and Do SFA for 15 mins, then get the bread out of the BM, then HHYoga. There..... Sorted!:D

    good afternoon :D

not caught up on the fred yet, so hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them.

DH came home! :j We went to Ikea last night - so cheap hot dogs & ic cream for tea :o We bought the blinds for the LR, and a couple more baskets for the DR units. I had toddler group this morning so left DH to put them up. They are all done, and our horrible old curtains are winging their way to the clothes bank now :j the nets have been washed, and may go to the charity shop. We have also vac'd under & behind everything, I have dusted & polished, cooked leek & potato soup for lunch & started dinner (cottage pie). I have sorted out a hot spot (the side table next to the settee where I keep all my work/uni stuff). DH has also taken a bag of clothes to the clothes bank (charity bag not picked up - twice!) and the bottle bank :) Quite a productive day :T

I need to pick up 1 from school, so a quiet afternoon aswell :) I may go and sort out some art & craft stuff for him to do, as he likes that.

Will catch up with you all later.

Kitchen is clean, back door open and floor drying. Just on my way upstairs to mop the bathroom floor with the same hot water but stopped and packed my e bay sales, too. So all packed, paid for in bag ready to go to PO and not yet paid for stuff set safely aside.

Have a parcel with an item to test which I get to keep, afterwards:D didn't know I'd been picked following the survey BUT I'm not allowed to talk about it so sshh;)

    Ah right LW...
