Hi  Sorry I've been away, haven't even had the energy to lurk :o

Having a real down time again, bl**dy men  Just as I was actually starting to feel better I get this kick in the gut
I won't bore you all with it as the only advice I'd get is what I already know and it's not what I want to hear or do if you get what I mean :(
I spent yesterday with my friend and her hubby, she doesn't trust me too be on my own, not that I'll hurt myself just that I'll be crying and get more depressed.
Her hubby looked at my laptop, sorted some issues on that. So that's something off my list.
My friend sorted out a debt that I'd missed payments on and got the payment down well under half and got the interest cancelled  and we changed my gas and electric supplier :money: AND I've joined Mr T's Christmas club for next year!

So far the wm, td, dw and sc are all on. I've cut some of our left over carpet to put in the livngroom to hide some leads (don't want anyone tripping), the rest thats left over can go to my sister for her doggy to sleep on..:D All clean clothes folded and put away. Gonna go now and gather up all dirty washing from the boys room as i'm sure that will keep me in washing all day..

cally_c Well done to your DD :T:T:T

Morning ladies. Living room being kept up with but HELP, i need your expertise. Old pantry that is off the room stores the boiler and freezer (sadly too warm now to be used as a pantry). Old freezer broke and leaked. Binned and now replaced but it STINKS in the pantry. Scrubbed floor with vinegar and milton but can't get rid of the smell. Concrete floor and am at my wits end. Just about to totally empty the pantry of the tools and tiles at the far end to see if i can pinpoint exactly where the smell is coming from. Done nose to floor but can't pinpoint the smell OH thinks it is the water that leaked from the freezer. Please can you help with ideas to get rid of the pong.
Sorry for long post but it is in the dining area of the living room.
Hugs and spoons and sticks. Extra hugs to those whe need them.
I will be observing the silence at 11am. God Bless.

I'd start by getting out some pots of bicarb of soda and leaving them open in there to see if that can absorb some of the smell. Would you be able to sprinkle it over the floor and leave it? Not sure if that would work on concrete.

    Made a cake
    Put the washing on
    Dealt with some emails
    Made kids GP appointments.

    Banking and more paperwork next
