  • Morning,

Have been to tesco and the market this morning, picked up a couple of bargain xmas pressies so can cross those off the list. S&S'd kitchen, cleared LR floor, and got a parcel containing a prize I won :T Very exciting! 2 minutes silence observed, lest we forget. Going to stick the WM and TD on then pick DS1 up from pre-school. Then after lunch he has football club and then some friends coming over so not sure what else I'll get done today. Don't have much left to do anyway! There is a pair of curtains that wants hanging in the boys rooms but OH needs to get the pole out of the loft for me first, so that can be done tomorrow. Oh, and I'm selling some bits at an NCT sale tomorrow so they probably need a wipe over.

Monday - Bathroom, shower room, toilet

    Done :T

Tuesday - Landing, hallway, spare room, office or other room you haven’t cleaned in a while

    Done :T

    Wednesday - Kitchen

    Afternoon all

I've made some cakes and sausage & tomato pie for dinner. Kitchen all cleared up and wiped down and I've vacuumed through downstairs. I put some washing out but it's getting very dark so that's coming back in very soon!

proud Mum alert - my DD passed her driving test at the first attempt on Weds! :j
:T:T:TCONGRATULATIONS:T:T:Tfrom another who passed first time - back in 1979!:D

Technical question re Level 2 item Clean insides of 3 windows.
Does this mean 3 panes of glass, or the whole of the windows in 3 rooms? The former I can probably manage, the latter will finish me off, methinks; bearing in mind that the lounge "window" consists of two door-sized panes, as we have a sliding patio door.

Dusty thankyou bicarb now sprinkled. Pantry has been cleared and vacced out nothing has been found that can be the culprit and the cat's haven't left any presents so the smell must be from the water that leaked from the freezer. Not washing the floor again it's been done 3 times in the last 2 days and wetting the floor seems to make it smell worse. So neutradol ball in there, bicarb and little window open. Oh and bottle of vanilla (oil burner type ) sprinkled.
Room sorted, dining area sorted and a large bag of paperwork sorted and decluttered.
    Hugs and Spoons and Sticks
Have a good weekend everyone xxx

    :jCongratulations to Cally's DD.

In my last post I was about to enter the Tardis to bring out a box of gubbins to sort and I said it may take a while...I've been gone for TWO DAYS:rotfl:

Life happens while we're making plans eh? Pip now has a new battery, and hopefully will not cause any more trouble. DS1 has been home from Uni for a couple of days - he was feeling under the weather and had no lectures so I nipped over the Humber Bridge and brought him home for some tlc and to catch up on some much needed zzzzzs. He has now returned to Pigpenland.

I maintained my dailies routine in between doing an unexpectedly large amount of washing...thanks DS1

Right...now where did I put that box of gubbins......

Cheers:beer: I don't like to feel I'm cheating/slacking, iyswim;) Anyways, I looked at the lounge windows, they're OK as I did them after Meg went home (nose art) and they'll need to be done again after Dilly's visit in any case (more nose art). So I've done the back door (2 panes, lots of cooking "deposits") and the front door (1 pane + a bonus little bit to the side).

Dragons all dusted to the best of my ability (ie round the big ones) and pictures suitably polished, so I think we're done.

Mr LW empties and cleans out the Dyson every week, after he's used it,:A so I'm off the hook on that one; the little hand-held cleaner needed doing though, so that's done, as is the dustpan and other non-electrical kit.

I'll wash the dirty cleaning rags/dusters tomorrow night on cheap rate leccy.;) (got a hanky wash to do tonight).

So I think.... yes, I do believe we're all up to scratch now, for this week.:T

Oh, and I finished those wretched CAMRA emails just before 22:00 last night. So that's my "5 extras" for the week done, too.

I still have to do my HHYoga; and I guess I ought to try and get a head start on the weekend's tasks, as Mr LW wants to go to the craft fair tomorrow.:o
